THREAD🧵: Pakistan tested the Fatah-4 cruise missile on September 30, 2025. They claimed it has a 750km range, flies close to the ground at 50m altitude, and can evade India's S-400 systems. But does it really pose a threat?
#Fatah4 #IndiaDefense #IAF #BrahMos #S400 #Barak8
Fatah-4 Specifications:
- Range: 750km
- Speed: Mach 0.7 (865 km/h) - SUBSONIC
- Weight: 1,530kg
- Warhead: 330kg (conventional)
- Accuracy: CEP 4-5 meters
- Flight profile: Terrain-hugging (50m altitude)
Key limitation: Its subsonic speed makes it vulnerable.
India’s layered defence includes:
- S-400 provides wide-area coverage, can intercept cruise missiles at 40km.
- Barak-8 class interceptors cover around 70-100 km and are designed for cruise threats.
- Akash variants add 45-70 km range, proven against subsonic threats.
