LabHub Project & Main Mirror Update

Hey everyone, here’s an update on the state of the main LabHub mirror and the project overall.

Our main mirror, which was hosted on a free OneDrive account, has been suspended. This was our primary storage solution, and unfortunately, it’s no longer accessible.

Meanwhile, our secondary mirror on Google Drive is still up, but it’s becoming less reliable. Google’s API changes have made service accounts ineffective at bypassing quota limits, meaning downloads are now frequently restricted.

To keep LabHub running smoothly, we’re evaluating new storage solutions:
• Yandex doesn’t offer enough space and Idk enough about their API limits.
• Self-hosting on a VPS is limited by bandwidth and latency.
• A paid OneDrive plan (~3TB for $100/year) seems like our best option for now.

If anyone has better alternatives, please let us know!

Hi everyone. The Google Drive backed repository will be down for a couple days while we restore the services. It's not working for most people anyway due to quota limits lol
We'll be back, hopefully greatly improving the service
In the meantime, touch some grass and enjoy the holidays (if you have holidays Idk) 😆

Edit/Further explanation:
We need the files quota to reset (in 24 hours) to be able to make a full copy and replicate the repository. After we have a copy the mirrors will be back. ETA: 4-5 days

Hi all!
I'm working on an improved version of ishare2 which will include md5 and sha1 integrity checks. I'm testing this on the beta branch, please don't use it until further notice, I broke it lol
The stable version should be fine though

Quick Install for ishare2
You can now install ishare2 with a single, simplified command:

curl -sSL https://ishare2.sh/install | sh 

No more long command chains.

I'm also working on the official documentation page. You’ll notice the button on the website is currently a placeholder, but expect updates soon.

There will be some downtime as I upgrade the server where I'm running the redis database that powers the main mirror. It should only take a couple minutes.
