MAINTENANCE IS ABOUT TO BEGIN
The service of the main domain will be back up in a couple of minutes

Please use alt domains in the meantime:
- legacy.unetlab.cloud
- unetlab.ml
- legacy.unetlab.ml
MIGRATION IS ABOUT TO HAPPEN
As we said in previous posts, unetlab.cloud will be migrating to a new index.
Previous links will break because the URLs are slightly changing.
Be sure to update your shared and stored URLs.

The change will be as follows:
/0:/ -> /UNETLAB%20I/
/1:/ -> /UNETLAB%20II/

Update: beta.unetlab.cloud officially closed for now.

Well it seems like we're hitting Vercel's usage limit so we'll be moving to a self hosted instance of the files' index.
This will run on a VPS (Virtual Private Server) located in Virginia.

Vercel's instance was actually also running in a U.S. data center so hopefully latency won't be that different.

Anyway I will make another post once the migration starts...

For now you can access the beta of the self hosted instance here: beta.unetlab.cloud and beta.unetlab.ml

I'll make an offer even tho it might be unlikely anyone's got a spare VPS for this...

Would you like to help contribute to the development of our index?

Decentralization would be of great help for keeping the project going by reducing latency for people from different areas.

You can help achieve this by hosting the index on your own Virtual Private Server (VPS).

We welcome everyone who meets the security requirements for their VPS and has proven to be trustful.

By hosting the index on your VPS, you can help us expand the reach and reliability of our index, while also reducing latency for users from different locations.

Once we verify that your VPS meets the requirements for hosting the index, you'll be added to the official list of mirrors.

Please note that this project is 100% free and we only receive donations. These donations help us cover the costs of domain renewals and porting images from different sources. While we'd love to remunerate you, unfortunately we can't, as we don't make any money ourselves.

If you're interested in helping us out by hosting the index, please don't hesitate to contact us and we'll answer any questions you may have.

Thank you for your interest in supporting our project!

Well guys remember I was looking for a new free storage solution? This might be it...

(Just kidding but it'd be interesting to see how 1.5+ TB of files turn out to be in a YT playlist 😂)

Hello everyone, important message ahead!

I've been running this site for a little over a year now and many things are more clear to me since then.

When I bought the domain name "unetlab.cloud", I didn't think I might would be infriging UNetLab's copyright and license by including the word "unetlab" in it.

I respect open-source licenses and I wouldn't like to create confusion among users and give the impression that my website is associated with or endorsed by UNetLab Ltd.

So, in order to avoid that confusion I'm considering changing the domain name.

Another reason to change the domain name is that we could start using .eu.org as TLD.

.eu.org domain names are free and I think it would fit better to the site since it's not commercial.

We might end up switching to it anyway if unetlab.cloud becomes unaffordable so why not change the domain name too?

Many users are already familiar with unetlab.cloud but I think we can keep the same user base even if we change the domain name.

Anyway, enough talk I just wanted to see your opinion on that matter.

Next I will open 2 polls, first one is to see your opinion about the possible change and the second one is for in case you're ok with the change what domain name would you prefer.

If you have any extra comments please put them below or join the group to discuss about it.
