I received new Shared Drives today and will start setting up more mirrors. However, be aware that LabHub might change in the way we used to distribute unlimited files without limits. This is not sustainable anymore, it was good while it lasted but the only way to keep this project somewhat alive is to make changes in how we distribute files.
More details coming soon!

(No. We won't start charging for mirrors.)

In preparation for the next multimirror future plans, old images will be archived. This is the list of currently archived images. Only the latest versions will be made available through ishare2 and LabHub. This list will be published and images requested might be moved back to main mirrors if deemed necessary. Most of them will stay archived.

LabHub should be back at 00:00 UTC (49 minutes from now). We'll see if I switch to the premium plan

Update: it's back

I'm testing the load balancer feature of Alist. I will create new service accounts soon, it seems like the current ones are overused or broken.

The alist mirror is load-balanced across nine mirrors. I had previously added only two. Please report any issues, as this might soon become our main mirror.

The alist mirror has proven to be quite reliable. It will soon become the main mirror: labhub.eu.org
drive.labhub.eu.org will remain active but will keep having those quota issue problems it's known for. Apparently legacy.labhub.eu.org is still active too.

The bash version of ishare2 will only support these two mirrors and a new ishare2 rewrite will become available for the alist mirror

Have you faced any issues with alist? Please let me know in the comments

Hey guys, if you're looking for something new to run your labs that isn't UNetLab-based but is definitely inspired by it, check out Nova VE, a project by a good friend from the networking community.

It's fully open source and completely free of charge. Keep in mind that it's still in alpha and not yet feature-complete, so you can expect a few bugs here and there.

For many of you, this might be a breath of fresh air with a more modern software stack that makes it safer to run than outdated versions of PNETLab in its current state.

If you run into any issues, feel free to open an issue on GitHub or, even better, contribute a patch and help move the project forward.

The developer aims to make this "unetlab compliant" (meaning they'll follow the same standard paths and you'll be able to import your labs without major changes).

Check out the current state on GitHub: https://github.com/fahadysf/nova-ve

Has anyone tried this?
https://github.com/zenhosta/9drive

It looks good although I might have to sort out load balancing but the S3 compatible API and admin console sound like just what we need to keep ishare2 working.
Why did I learn about this project on Instagram of all places? lol

Has anyone else ran into issues while using the alist mirror? (alist.labhub.eu.org) I'm aware that it's been slow for some users but Idk how to fix it and I've been too busy to even try to fix anything since my last messages a few months ago. Anyway I hope to deliver some updates soon but I can't promise anything.
