I should've stopped the polls an hour ago but I forgot. Consider this a grace period of time lol
Anyway, according to the polls the changes will be well received by the community.
The new name for the repositories project will be LabHub and the domain name will be labhub.eu.org
P.S.: You probably noticed already that the icon was changed yesterday. We'll use it from now on the matters related to the images repositories.
Remember ishare2's project is different so that name won't actually be changed.

Just noticed some users sent emails to contact@unetlab.cloud
Sorry I didn't reply before. I will try to check it more often 😅
Actually the new contact email will have a different domain name too so I'll share that later too…

Hey there! Just wanted to give you a heads-up about ishare2's web frontend. Mati did an awesome job creating it a while back. Have you had a chance to check it out yet?
Well, I recently took that frontend and made some tweaks to it (with Mati's help, of course).
The changes turned out pretty sweet, and we're actually planning on releasing a new version of it soon.
But, if you're feeling adventurous and want to give it a spin before the official release, you can check out the installation instructions over at our GitHub page: https://github.com/ishare2-org/ishare2-web-gui#installation-as-root
Note that it is not 100% ready yet, and it's still lacking many features which will be added in coming versions. Let us know your feature requests and we'll consider adding them in the future.
Thanks for your interest, and happy sharing!

Hello everyone, quick update...
cat9kv, timos-21.10.R1 are now live on ishare2 as well as the main repositories.
Note that legacy repositories are no longer being updated due to the storage restrictions imposed by Google.
Thanks to everyone for contributing your images ❤️
Community contributions are really helpful as this project is widely powered by them!
P.S.: I will try to notify you about new images per week if any.
If they're too many then it's less likely I would mention them all but you can always check the site or ishare2 yourself and find out :).

A couple weeks ago we noticed some sort of quota limit messages when downloading a file either by ishare2 or directly from the repositories themselves.
You might encounter a message like the one in this screenshot.
Tho it was very unlikely to happen, we're somehow hitting that quota. If you face this issue, all you have to do is wait for 2 minutes. Please don't retry before that time or you'll get limited for longer.
Finding an affordable & good storage provider nowadays is becoming quite difficult but we'll see how we can prevent this from happening or find another solution...

LabHub & ishare2 Updates ️
I should've stopped the polls an hour ago but I forgot. Consider this a grace period of time lol Anyway, according to the polls the changes will be well received by the community. The new name for the repositories project will be LabHub and the domain name…
1 month after the new domain name was chosen, we finally got approved and now own: labhub.eu.org and you can already use it as the new site to look for images.
The domain "unetlab.cloud" will remain active for exactly 1 month and after that we'll no longer be the owners. Remember that old links will break after that time passes.
As for now, legacy repositories are surprisingly still up and running even after almost all shared drives got deleted some of the copies I had are still surviving. They will one day be removed tho. Since they are still alive and some people still use them, we'll move those to the new domain name as well before unetlab.cloud expires.
For now, only labhub.eu.org which will be the new main domain is available, subdomains will be added later.
I don't have much else to say other than stay tuned for new announcements as we go through the migration. I've been very busy lately so it might take me some time to respond or make new announcements so please be patient and if you have any questions or suggestions feel free to make them on the group chat.
unetlab.cloud will expire on: Apr 25, 2023

Hi everyone!
Good news! I finally had some time to organize images I had pending to release publicly over a month ago.
Since they're a lot I won't write them all in this message, instead I'll upload a txt file with the tree list of the files that were added.
A new update was done to UNETLAB II:

There are still some images pending to be added and remember it takes a little longer for ishare2 to show the latest additions, but the lists will be added in coming hours...
We are adding a couple more by the end of this week

LabHub & ishare2 Updates ️
At first I wanted to take an error proof approach from the beginning thinking of all existing possibilities but then I figured I'd take it easy 😆
Anyway, this new version of ishare2 has a lot of changes, all details will be disclosed later in the GitHub repository but here's the most significant ones:
- ishare2 will have its own directory /
opt/ishare2,- it now uses aria2c to download images,
- it reuses already downloaded files to significantly improve speed and use slightly less bandwidth and outside requests,
- includes improved error handling and error logs to easily troubleshoot or report bugs.
This version is not yet available in the stable branch of ishare2.
It's very simple to install the alpha version of ishare2 by simply running this command:
wget -O /usr/sbin/ishare2 https://raw.githubusercontent.com/pnetlabrepo/ishare2/alpha/ishare2 > /dev/null 2>&1 && chmod +x /usr/sbin/ishare2 && ishare2(Notice the only change in the installation command is the branch name)
After you install it and use it, please report any bugs you find.
Keep in mind this version is unstable so it might not work as expected, to go back to the old version, run the installation command of ishare2 stable.
This version includes more verbose logging by default for testing purposes.
