Dear Neon Community,

Yesterday we returned funds to every single person that contacted us with tx hash proving they got scammed on our Discord server due to one of our team member’s account being hacked.

Let's all take this as a lesson, we will do whatever we can to prevent this from happening ever again, and you do whatever you can from your end to stay safe.

If something similar happens in any of our channels in the future, make sure not to rush. The announcements about any activities, definitely any sales are prepared in a proper manner and made days or weeks before the start across all official channels. Please, always check the information before diving in, connecting your wallets, because Web3, unfortunately, isn't the safest place at the moment.

This is a time for us to come out of this situation stronger than we were before, and let's continue our work building a better future.

The time has finally come for our Alpha Launch on Solana Devnet!

We have a stable version of Neon proxy and The Neon EVM program that have been deployed on Devnet and are ready for battle testing by anyone. Our goal is to onboard dApps, and users and test the solution thoroughly during the next several weeks.

One of our first partners, Moraswap, will launch as the first AMM on Neon. NeonScan will take the role of our chain explorer and Aleph will provide an indexing solution. Pyth will be an oracle supporting Neon EVM and Nomad together with Connext will work as our first bridging solution.

The most important part is that the compatibility of Neon EVM with ETH is very high, there is only a small list of functionalities that isn’t supported:

All the questions related to the deployment of dApps and usage of Neon Alpha you are welcome to ask in developer_support channel on our Discord, however, the technical bugs should be reported via a link in our github-reports channel.

We need your help in testing Neon. This product is for you and could be built and shipped to Solana Mainnet only with your help.

Regarding our Operator Program, nodes running on devnet will be run by Neon Labs initially and as we move into the next phase, we will release the criteria required to be selected to run an operator node. For all the questions regarding Operator Program please use the operators channel on our Discord and feel free to ask the team members for access in case you don’t have it already.

We are open for a talk with everyone wanting to launch on Neon Alpha, please provide us your pitch decks upon contact. If everything goes smooth we will be porting you from Devnet to Mainnet once testing has been completed.

In addition to all of this, we have updated our website and refreshed our documentation as well.
