Big news neonauts!
We are excited to announce that we have successfully addressed the performance issues and have transitioned from pessimistic account blocking to optimistic account handling, including changes on the Proxy side. We are now ready to deploy these updates to the Devnet for final testing before our Mainnet release. All local tests have passed with flying colors.
Key Improvements for users:
• The speed of processing user transactions will see a significant increase.
• The number of iterations and overall transaction execution time will be reduced to more reasonable figures (3-10 instead of 30+).
• The likelihood of Solana transactions failing to execute will be considerably reduced.
• Transactions signed and sent by users will now appear instantly in Block Explorers and Wallets, eliminating previous delays.
Deployment Schedule:
• The devnet deploy will be done today and will post all updates in our official Discord. Please follow official annoucements.

The last few months have seen massive network growth and congestion on the Solana mainnet. Just as we inherit everything good from Solana (high throughput, speed, finality, parallel processing), we also inherit the effects of its high demand and growth. We saw this high usage cause times of low performance for certain types of transactions in dApps on Neon and also hinder us from unlocking Solana Sealevel technology to its full potential.
Our core dev team actively identified bottlenecks and worked tirelessly to implement upgrades. Today, we are thrilled to announce an important milestone for Neon EVM: full parallel transaction execution is now live on the mainnet! This transformative mainnet update benefits developers building and deploying on Neon EVM.
What will this mean for developers?
🔹 Scalability: The ability to execute transactions in parallel addresses scalability issues head-on. By unlocking optimistic locking and distributing computational units among iterative transactions, dApps will maintain high performance and reliability as user base grows, ensuring a smooth user experience even during peak times.
🔹 Lower Transaction Costs: With more efficient processing and reduced overheads, the cost per transaction is reduced. We have rewritten Neon Proxy, and now dApps can operate more economically, making them more attractive to users who are sensitive to transaction fees.
