Notes about the bug which black screens when opening chat
We have recently received a number of reports about the application blacking out when the write button on the profile is clicked.
After checking, we found that this was due to the closeChats event being delayed, and our solution was to allow this event to bypass the animation delay.
We have found that this issue is still present in the official 7.6 beta and recommend that third party clients consider our fix to avoid this issue.

After some work, now you can get certified NekoX at the F-Droid main repository. Although the update procedure from this source is slower, it has some mirrors can easily bypass the censorship of some countries and can be used to spread the application.
Explanation: Due to technical reasons and official obstructions (including preventing device name updates, logging out sessions, affecting users who have not enabled this function), we think this function is not necessary to continue to exist.
