Telegram added a “Search Messages” option to the menu that appears after long-pressing a profile picture, so the redundant “View History” feature has been removed from message menu in v12.2.3.

If Nekogram’s features do not meet your requirements, you can submit suggestions on GitHub or in the discussion group (with the hashtag #suggestion). Feature requests may not be accepted immediately, and even if they are, there is no guarantee they will be implemented soon.

The following kinds of suggestions are rarely accepted: redesigning Telegram’s interface, adding too many toggle options, or anything that violates the Telegram API ToS (such as removing ads, blocking messages, or viewing deleted messages).

There are many third-party Telegram clients available online. If Nekogram cannot satisfy your needs, you may want to try some other clients. Here are some that are actively maintained:

Clients with many unique and innovative designs: Exteragram, Cherrygram, Turrit, Octogram
If you need toggles for everything: Plus Messenger, Graph Messenger
If you need features that violate the API ToS: Ayugram (based on Exteragram), NagramX, Nagram

Telegram has introduced passkey support in its latest version. However, due to restrictions from the operating system (except on Windows) or password managers (Google Password Manager on Android), passkeys cannot be used in third-party clients. Therefore, Nekogram does not—and cannot—implement passkey functionality.
