For those wondering, why this strategy^ is not working for you😬

Sharing some PYQs that I had written during my preparation, spanning all the GS papers.

Things to observe :

1. Daily writing - 2/3 PYQs of whatever subject I was reading.

2. Time should not be your main concern. Through this exercise, we are trying to consolidate our content, experiment with writing styles and checking how effectively we can recall what all we have memorised.

3. I didn’t get it evaluated by anyone. Used to write it in a small group with 2-3 peers. They gave their feedback at times. I already knew the essentials of a good answer, I just tried to implement as many of them as possible. SO STOP FRETTING OVER EVALUATION.

Luck, no doubt, plays a significant role in this examination. But if you don’t do the baseline hardwork, you will never get lucky!

I will take one comprehensive ethics session from theory to case studies mostly for Mains appearing students(though others can join too), most probably on Saturday Afternoon.

All the interested mains appearing candidates can ping @helpdeskupsc for the link to the meet.

Let's cut to the chase and analyse UPSC Prelims 2020. My intent is to not only provide a comprehensive analysis, but also to provide a broad framework for approaching such an analysis by yourself in future.
Blast from the Past: Sherlocking as we know it was ideated!

Didn’t imagine that we would have a close knit telegram fam of close to 3k members.

Hopefully my break will send soon and we’ll get back to full speed.

Namaskar Guys! Taking a leaf out of The Terminator’s playbook, I feel “I’M BACK”!

I have been getting a lot of feedback from the community regarding our work. Taking into that account, I’ll make the YouTube channel more active in coming days with a wholesale revamp so that it caters to the demand of the hour in a better way.(कुछ चीज़ें बदलेंगे जिससे बेहतर Content Delivery हो पाए।)

As is evident from our past growth, I can’t do this without your continued support as always, so in sometime I’ll make a list of things you can do to make our work more successful in terms of its reach and impact.(सबका साथ और विश्वास, ताकि अपने प्रयास से हो पाए सबका विकास 😄)

I’ll also shortly resume the Mains course so that your Mains 2024(and beyond) prep is aligned as per UPSC’s demand.

Meanwhile you can checkout the existing initiatives.

Indian Polity & Governance entire syllabus in one page. This is what I mean by “Syllabus parsing”!

This has two benefits:

-You can break it into digestible chunks.(छोटा तुकड़ा ही खाया, पचाया जा सकता हैं, चाहें खानें का हो या पढ़ाई का।)

-Easy to recollect as you don’t need to rote learn. Conceptual clarity once established will ensure that you never forget once you learn.(रटना नहीं हैं, एक बार समझ लिया, काफ़ी हैं।)

But you might ask, why do I need to memorise syllabus, syllabus is for knowing what to read, isn’t it!?
(Syllabus याद कौन करता हैं!? ये क्या नई कहानी हैं!?)

Syllabus is the key to generating N number of points. It reduces reliance on memory because memory lets you down when you need it the most. Also, syllabus is the best framework for multidimensionality.
