Enrollment Related Info:
The access team has passed on certain requests to me and hence it becomes imperative to convey the same to students planning to enroll.
- Currently we don’t have an end to end automated access which means that it takes 24-72 hours to provide the video access post admission formality. Your patience is highly appreciated at that point and you’re encouraged to keep revising the basics so that post access you can use the course in the best possible way.
- Before paying, always confirm the name that shows up on upi. It’s linked to my account so my name will show up i.e. Neelkanth Bhardwaj. This is also why we provide upi in a separate message so you can directly copy paste. There have been a couple instances where instead of copy pasting, students have manually typed and made a mistake. Due diligence is essential for civil servants prior to getting enrolled, I’m sure you’ll take care of it.
I’m sure we’ll make best use of the modules and of my experience moving forward.

📚✨ *UPPCS & UPSC Prep Insights* ✨📚
🔍 *Prelims Similarities*:
- Both feature 📉 1/3 negative marking for incorrect answers.
- 📚 Two papers: GS & CSAT, with CSAT being qualifying for both.
📖 *Mains Common Ground*:
- 🌏 Four GS papers covering History, Geography, Social Issues, Polity, Governance, IR, Environment, Economy, S&T, and Ethics.
- 📝 One Essay paper + 📚 optional subject (two papers UPSC) & UP special (two papers) Syllabus overlap ~90% except UPSC optional and UP special.
👥 *Interview Insights*:
- 🕒 25-35 minutes, focusing on personality assessment.
- No fixed agenda; open-ended questions.
🌟 *UPPCS vs UPSC: Key Differences Unveiled* 🌟
🎯 *Prelims Contrast*:
- UPPCS leans towards factual queries 📚, UPSC emphasizes conceptual understanding 💡.
- UPPCS: 150 questions for 200 marks vs UPSC: 100 questions for 200 marks.
📝 *Mains Distinctions*:
- Language papers: UPPCS has 1 (Hindi) with marks counted towards total. UPSC has 2, and they're just qualifying.
- UPPCS Mains includes 2-3 UP-specific questions in GS1, GS2, and GS3 🏞.
- Essay variance: UPPCS demands 3 essays (700 words each); UPSC requires 2 (1000-1200 words).
- Marking scheme: UPPCS papers are 200 marks (essay and language 150), UPSC's are each 250 marks.
👤 *Interview Insights*:
- Marks differ: UPPCS (100/1600) vs UPSC (275/2025).
- UPPCS interviewers are unaware of your personal details (except graduation and optional); UPSC panels have full info 🤵.
- UPPCS may pose more factual questions than UPSC.
🏅 *Resulting in Variations*:
- UPPCS assigns service-wise ranks, revealing your exact position (e.g., 10th in DySP). UPSC provides a total rank with a reserve list.
Stay informed and strategize your preparation accordingly! 📈📘

▪️Often, we are miserable in our UPSC journey because we think we are the ones struggling while others not pursuing this goal are getting to 'live' their life.
▪️This thought process makes one even more miserable and isolated. 😢
▪️Fortunately or unfortunately, struggle is part of every aspect of life from career to marriage and parenthood. From private jobs to government jobs to entrepreneurship. 🏃♂🏃♀
▪️When you get used to the idea that struggle is a life long process and start to enjoy the struggle, you have already won irrespective of the result.
Watch the short and we are sure that this 50 seconds short will save you a lot of emotional baggage and resentment -

🗓️ 🕵️♂️ Sherlocking Meet Minutes (Older Meet):
🦅👀 Don't be a rat, be an eagle (bird's-eye view ftw!)
📚💡 Basic sources, previous year papers, self belief. Rinse and repeat for shining results.
🔍🎲 Maximize attempts with logical backing. The answer is right there, waiting to be found. ~ 81 questions by the second iteration.
🎯🚫 Decisiveness. No faltering when there's logic as to why you feel an option is correct.
✅🔄 Mark as many possible in the 1st iteration itself.
🧩🔢 CSAT - no fretting about quant.
🌟🚶 It's a simple exam, no deliberate attempt to make an aspirant fail. Not easy, but no षड़यंत्र going on either.
💪❌ Don't lose to fear. Equal chance of failing or making it through, so might as well give the best shot anyway.
🚶♂️🤷♂️ I'll live even if I don't clear the pre, will worry about that when it actually happens. Keep going with studies for now :)
🚫👥 Cut demotivating people off.
🌀💼 Be the merchant of chaos since it's uncertain for everyone in the exam hall, think of it as an opportunity to find a way out, not a reason to give up.
🔮✨ Believe in the magic so that the magic works for you✨
