Subject: Call for Nominations – PAMA Board of Directors

Dear Members of PAMA

The term of the current PAMA Board of Directors has concluded, and preparations are now underway for the upcoming election to form a new board. In accordance with our bylaws, we are seeking three (3) Board Members and two (2) Members-at-Large to serve in the next term.

Members who are interested in serving and contributing to the continued growth and success of PAMA are invited to submit their nominations, including CV and letter of intent to info@pama.ngo no later than 4:00 p.m. Central Standard Time on January 31st, 2026.

We encourage nominations from individuals who demonstrate a strong commitment to PAMA’s mission and who bring enthusiasm, integrity, and vision to our organization’s leadership.

To the esteemed members and colleagues of PAMA,

It is with profound sorrow that we acknowledge the recent events unfolding in Iran. The ruling authorities have not only engaged in widespread violence and repression against the population, but have also launched assaults on hospitals and medical facilities. Numerous healthcare professionals—including physicians, nurses, medical assistants, and other hospital staff—have been attacked, detained, and, according to reports, some have tragically lost their lives.

In response to these unacceptable actions by the Islamic Republic, a call has been issued for public demonstrations to express solidarity and to ensure that the voices of our fellow Iranians are heard by those abroad who influence international policy. We respectfully urge all members and supporters to participate, to the extent possible, in the demonstrations scheduled for Saturday, February 14, in Los Angeles (USA), Toronto (Canada), and Munich (Germany), and to show your support for the people of Iran.

PAMA remains steadfast in its commitment to supporting the medical community and healthcare workers in Iran. We call upon all relevant international organizations and governments to stand with the Iranian people, support the ongoing movement, and condemn the inhumane actions of the Islamic Republic.

Let us join together to uphold our responsibility to support and defend our people and our country in the most effective manner possible.

دوستان سلام،
الان اینجا ساعت ۹ صبح بوقت تورنتو در کانادا هست و ما دیشب ساعت ۲ نیمه شب رسیدیم و دیگه الان داریم یواش یواش بیدار میشیم و
اماده برای رفتن برای تظاهرات.

نزدیکی های مرز ۲ ساعت برف سنگین در راه داشتیم و در شهر هم برف سنگینی اومده، ولی الان هوا افتابی هست.
به امید اینکه هوا بقیه روز افتابی بمونه.

جای همگی خالی و همگی با هم هرکجا که هستید، امروز صدای بیصدای هموطنانمون باشیم.
