In an unexpected turn of events, Micky Watkins had an engaging dialogue with celebrity billionaire investor Mark Cuban, on Twitter earlier this week.
A lot of the familiar features of World Mobile were discussed, such as the use of nodes, the importance of the token and how a dynamic hybrid model is used. However, some of the tweets gave us NEW SNEAK PEAKS into some information we haven't seen before. For example:

❓What is the WMT token used for (Utility)❔
1️⃣Where allowed, customers can use WMT to pay for the service through the World Mobile app. This can also be done via fiat at a local store.
The cost of the service is a fixed price per country as set out by the regulator, this price is in the local currency, when paying for the service using either fiat or WMT, no matter the cost of WMT the service will cost the same. Your $30 recharge is always going to cost $30 in the local currency. The transaction is time stamped at the time of purchase and the amount of WMT used for the recharge translates to the cost of the service in fiat.
This will avoid any fluctuation in the cost of service regardless of the price of WMT.
Customers will also be able to use WMT to pay for many value added services provided through our World Mobile app, such a streaming services, games, and e-commerce etc
2️⃣ $WMT is used for staking (PoS) on the nodes, this is done to help keep the network secure and distributed.
3️⃣ As a reward mechanism for participating in the sharing economy.
By using off-the-shelf equipment to make network nodes affordable and easy to build, business owners can buy nodes and set them up locally creating a connection for themselves and others, while sharing the rewards—World Mobile Tokens.
