But as always, let's wait for the official announcement to serve as confirmation and also to know all the relevant details (for example, some parameters may change) 😃

You nean about Phase 2 staking? Yes the WM team have just confirmed to me that Phase 2 will continue until the main net is released

This is the website that summarizes the pledges made at the ITU WTDC in Rwanda, where World Mobile was. xWe already know about entities in Tanzania and Zanzibar, the UK and Jersey, Kenya, Nigeria and the US. But here are additional countries/territories I found:
The shaded parts on this map called "Countries of Implementation" include countries that has not yet been revealed previously. It includes Senegal, Mali, Ghana, Uganda, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Angola, Botswana, South Africa-Lesotho-&-Eswatini, Madagascar, Mozambique - where Empowa, another RealFi on Cardano, is currently building houses, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Malawi Burundi, Somalia and Ethiopia where Cardano and IOG has an existing partnership to implement blockchain solutions, including DIDs.
Outside of the African continent, the Bahamas, Haiti, Falkland Islands (tagged on this interactive map as "UK") and Papua New Guinea are shaded as well.
That's already 22 countries on top of the 6 confirmed markets World Mobile will be in. 🔥

"World Mobile will not compete with Starlink, we will be a potential customer for their backhaul services. You cannot just turn on Wi-Fi and connect to Starlink, there will still need to be infrastructure on the ground to support connectivity, as mentioned we provide a use case for backhaul." - World Mobile Team
