I recommend everyone start a garden. You still have time. There are many vegetables you can plant in July and August that will be ready for the fall like cauliflower, kale, broccoli cabbage etc.
Gardening is very important, especially now with the price of produce skyrocketing. It's quite easy and very rewarding.
This year we decided to do a few different types of tomatoes, carrots, bell peppers(orange, green, red), jalapeños peppers habanero peppers, cucumber, cantaloupe, chives, dill, thyme, broccoli, cauliflower, Romaine lettuce, marjoram, tarragon, rosemary, mint, parsley, lemon balm, Spinach and green onions.
Gardens can be done in small spaces, you don't need a large property to grow food. Another plus when growing your own garden, is you know exactly what has been put in the soil and you know that your food has not been contaminated or sprayed with poison.

My wife made us homemade Peach Cobbler last night. This was her first time doing a Cobbler, and she did an amazing job.
