What was Reliance's (Anil Ambani's) experience in making a Metro?
He was first given contract of Delhi Airport metro line during 2007-2008 for over 5800 crores!!
Did any of us ask *Why Anil Ambani & not DMRC*?
Was he honest then and now...??
DMRC began its operation in December 2002 and the physical construction started in late 1998.
This question of why give contract to pvt. company when u had a special-purpose organization with technical expertise readily available?? Nope.
Why give licenses to Jio, Vodafone, TATA and Airtel when we had BSNL??
Why give licenses to HDFC, ICICI, etc. when we had nationalised banks like a conglomerate of SBI.
Why give licenses to Indigo, etc. when we had Air India/Indian Airlines??
Anil Ambani got contract of Mumbai metro line from Andheri to Ghatkopar of Rs 8571 cr under Congress rule. Reliance had 30% share.
He was given Metro contracts worth Rs 14571 crores.
Does it mean the Government gave away Anil Rs.14571 crores? For nothing??
In toto, Anil Ambani's Reliance Group was awarded worth Rs.100,000 crores in seven years during Congress rule (2004-2014). Source: Economic Times, October 2018.
Since 1963, Congress bought 1200 MIG-21's.
By 2013, 840 of them had crashed. 70% crash rate!

They couldn't buy one warplane in 10 yrs. Now, this mentally derailed RaGa rolling his sleeves and fisting his arms, shouting at the top of his voice why Modi bought 36 in 5 yrs.
By remaining silent, we citizens of this country are indirectly supporting this rubbish argument and encouraging liars to make false propagandas.
We should at least STOP supporting falsehood, of ineffectiveness and corruption if not fight against them.
Delhi needed 400 km of Metro. In Phase-1, only 65 kms. Does that make Delhi Metro a scam?
Phased development is also part of steady progress and subject to availability of resources.
IAF wanted 126 planes. Government bought 36 in phase-1. How is phased purchase a scam?
Why should a PM of this country answer stupid (rather ill-willed) questions, when so much of information already made available.
Should we make available classified information (especially which can compromise national security) in public domain?? By merely not agreeing to the demand of JPC, can this be called a scam?? SC and CAG have been provided the necessary information!!
The Govt is not bound to meet the demand of Opposition in this case!! Maintaining of confidentiality is the responsibility of the Government and should not succumb to these dirty pressures!!
Let us not get confused by those who want to mislead under the garb of freedom of expression and transparency!!
