Police: Woman raped at gunpoint near Prospect Park
Cops are hunting for the sicko who raped a 59-year-old woman at gunpoint near the #ProspectPark Parade Ground on Sunday.
The victim told police the villain grabbed her on Parkside Avenue near Parade Place at 4 am, warning her he was armed with a knife and a gun.
The criminal then shoved the woman against a parked van before dragging her behind a bench, where he raped her, cops said.
Following the rape, the man smashed a window of the van and then entered it with the victim, whom he unsuccessfully tried to sexually assault again while inside, according to authorities, who said the guy stole $10 from the woman’s purse and fled after his failed second attempt.
Cops described the suspect as between 25- and 35-years-old and between 5-foot-10-inches and 6-feet tall.

One dead after fiery crash on Brooklyn Bridge
One person died on Wednesday morning after four cars collided on the #BrooklynBridge and three of them burst into flames the day before Thanksgiving, Police and Fire Department reps said.
Sixty members of New York’s Bravest rushed to the scene on the #Brooklyn-bound side of the East River span around 7:15 am, and extinguished the inferno an hour later, #FDNY spokesman Michael Parrella said.
One victim died immediately after the fatal crash, and paramedics transported another to Brooklyn Hospital, while five others refused medical attention, Parrella said.
Officials are still investigating the cause of the deadly collision and subsequent blaze, and have yet to identify the deceased, according to #NYPD spokesman Det. Ahmed Nasser, who said the bridge remained closed to Kings County–bound vehicles hours after the incident, but that authorities reopened the span’s Manhattan-bound lanes about an hour after they shut the crossing down entirely at 7:30 am.
