We are waiting for your ideas or requests within the project “Open Rectorate”. Shortly we will release more details on the upcoming meeting where you will be able to hear the answers to your questions and receive immediate feedback from our Rector and the University’s authorities regarding your concerns.
Tomorrow “Boiling Point — Commune” will host a lecture with Chase Adams, Arizona State University, on the topic “Technological entrepreneurship — a hard or a soft skill?”.

Our guest will explain how to develop entrepreneurship skills and build functional teams for technological projects. To attend the meeting you need to get registered online.

This year will be the 6th time when Department of Modern Languages and Communication of NUST MISIS is organizing the international conference “EAP/ ESP/ EMI in the context of Higher Education”

For two days “Boiling point — Commune” will become the place to discuss digital tools and meta-cognitive techniques in higher education. The program includes sessions and seminars by the leading world experts in education and IT. At the end of the second day we are glad to invite our guests for one more special occasion, gala night of 20th anniversary of the Linguistics program at NUST MISIS.

Due to recent pandemics in Moscow, a vaccinating center is opening at the first-aid post, Leninsky Prospect 6/3, room G-137, from September 23, 2019. An infectious disease physician from The First City Clinical Hospital is available for consultations for students and staff members of the university at the vaccinating center.
The following vaccinations are available:
• Influenza vaccine
• MMR vaccine
• Tetanus and Diphtheria (Td) vaccine
Vaccination is free for all categories of students (including internationals)
It is obligatory to have passport and medical insurance certificate with you

Monday-Thursday, 12:30 – 14:30

IMPORTANT: the university is not forcing students to move out of the dormitories for the period of individual curriculum studies.

You may choose whether to stay in Moscow or go to your home country for this period, at your option. But you need to keep in mind that this is not a vacation, but another form of studies, and you need to successfully complete the curriculum within the educational program.

According to Amendments to the Decree of the Mayor of Moscow "On the introduction of the state of high alert", as of today, Moscow department for transportation and infrastructure development will temporarily terminate transportation cards for students. Your payments will be transferred to the later period. This measure is introduced to ensure self-isolation regime.

More information is available on the Moscow Mayor website (in Russian):
⚡️Starting today Moscow enacts home regime of self-isolation for all residents regardless of age⚡️

Home regime doesn't restrict the right to enter or leave the city, but it suggests that one is not allowed to move around without absolute necessity.

▪️Muscovites are to keep social distancing no less than 1.5 meters. The only exception — taxi ride.

▪️All organizations and enterprises are to create proper conditions for social distancing of citizens, such as markings on the floors and special visiting regimes.

▪️Residents are not to leave their homes. Exceptions:
• Need for urgent medical help
• Imminent threat to health and life
• Commuting to workplace and back, if their work is not currently suspended
• Nearest groceries, pharmacy, bank or communication store
• Walking domestic animals no farther than 100 m from their home
• Taking out garbage

▪️Residence contracting COVID-19 and those helping halt the spread of infection will be given free anti-viral drugs.

▪️Pre-paid transport cards will be extended.
