Want to make a difference in helping the disadvantaged while applying the skills you've learnt? Here's the chance!

The Technology Development (Tech Dev) Programme is a programme where skilled, experienced and passionate student volunteers work in partnership with VWOs to solve problems with solutions that are appropriate and sustainable.

Student participants, in teams of 3-5, will be guided by an experienced engineering mentor and VWOs, to ensure that our participants would be able to develop a working prototype at the end of the program. Funding will also be provided.
The programme will start in January 2018 and run for 8 months. More details can be found on our website.
If you are interested, you may come for our briefing on 15 Dec from 3-4pm at E1-06-04.

Dear students,

If you are interested in social enterprises, want to learn more about entrepreneurship, or simply wish to make a difference to the community around you, join us as part of the Singapore Chapter Bridges for Enterprise team!

Bridges for Enterprise is an organization founded at the University of Cambridge, UK. We seek to empower social enterprise startups in developing countries by providing them with pro-bono finance, consulting and legal advisory services. To date, Bridges for Enterprise has helped 28 clients from 16 countries worldwide including Ethopia, India, Indonesia, Nigeria, Singapore, and Tanzania.

The Singapore Chapter is currently recruiting students for our Finance Advisory team. You will be given the opportunity to work directly with the social entrepreneur, with the help of a professional mentor. The Finance Advisory team is tasked to make the startup investor ready. This involves the valuation of the social enterprises, startup financing, preparation of pitch decks etc.

We hope to inspire people to bridge the gap between career success and making difference in the world. We accomplish this by giving students like you the opportunity to develop corporate skills by working on projects for social enterprises that go on to make a tangible impact on the world.

Below are a few of the benefits that you will gain from joining our team:

Understand how social enterprises pursue both profit and social/environmental impact in their business

Learn and apply knowledge about consulting and financial advisory specific to a social enterprise, by tapping on the expertise of the Bridges for Enterprise network

Learn more about entrepreneurship, business model analysis and valuations, with professional mentors from Goldman Sachs, Blackstone, McKinsey, BCG, Deutsche Bank, Jefferies, HSBC, etc.

For more information on our work, do take a look at our website: https://www.bridgesforenterprise.com.

If you are interested, please head over to https://goo.gl/forms/PH6HoGbyTLl43TvO2 and fill up the application form by 12th January 2018 (Friday). Do remember to submit your CV and photos to global.recruitment@bridgesforenterprise.com after completing the application form.
