In September 2023, I had the privilege of participating in the Learning Express program, a transformative experience that reinforced the power of collaboration and community-driven change. Working alongside diverse teams and local stakeholders in Takeo, I realized that true progress only happens when we learn to compromise and truly listen to one another. By understanding the challenges faced by the community and incorporating their voices into the process, we were able to develop solutions that were not only practical but also meaningful. This experience sharpened my skills in cross-cultural teamwork and taught me that sustainable change is built on mutual respect, shared insights, and collective effort. It was a powerful reminder that real, lasting impact comes when we engage, learn, and innovate together with those most affected by the challenges we seek to solve.

Congratulations to Ms. Poch Elineat, our NUM International College alumna, for winning a scholarship to pursue her Master’s Degree in Data Science at Monash University through the Australia Award Scholarship! Elineat will be departing Cambodia for Australia in January 2025.
We wish her all the best in her future endeavors.
During her studies at NUM International College, Elineat participated in an exchange program in Spain for one year in 2017 through the Impakt Scholarship. This experience allowed her to immerse herself in a different academic and cultural environment, fostering personal growth and expanding her horizons.
In addition to the exchange program, Elineat holds dual degrees from the National University of Management and ICN Business School in France, which she earned in 2018.

On December 27, 2024, H.E. Professor Hor Peng met with two students from Pan European University in Slovakia before their departure from Cambodia. They are spending one semester at NUM International College as part of the student exchange program between the two institutions. Notably, from 2020 to 2022, four students from NUM International College also studied at Pan European University.

On January 8, 2025, H.E. Professor Hor Peng met with 30 students from the National University of Management who are participating in the Learning Express Program scheduled for March 2025. Today marked the first in-person training session on design thinking.
Learning Express (LeX) is a program that aims to cultivate the Design Thinking mindset among students in the context of social innovation. The program offers students unique experiences beyond traditional textbook learning, such as language acquisition and community homestay. These experiences allow students to interact with and develop friendships with youths from Asia.
