Mr. Suy Makara, the Deputy Director of NUM International College, attended the 9th Steering Committee Meeting of the Asian International Mobility for Students (AIMS) Programme in Brunei Darussalam.
Since 2022, six students from NUM International College have participated in a semester abroad in ASEAN countries and attended a summer program in Japan. Next year, NUM International College will be able to send students to study for one semester in Japan and Malaysia with the support of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of Cambodia.
The AIMS Programme, initiated by SEAMEO RIHED, aims to support student mobility and enhance cooperation in higher education across Asia. It offers students opportunities to study abroad in selected disciplines, helping them develop their learning and intercultural skills as confident global citizens. AIMS consists of 90 university members across 10 countries: Japan, South Korea, Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.

Temasek Foundation Specialists’ Community Action and Leadership Exchange (TF SCALE) is a leadership exchange programme for students from polytechnics and technical and vocational education and training colleges (TVET) in ASEAN. Through this program, students from ASEAN will travel to Singapore to study for 2 weeks and Singaporean students will travel to ASEAN Countries in 2 weeks to do the community projects with ASEAN Students.
So far there are 30 NUM International College students who have been selected in TF SCALE Program.

A group of 130 students and faculty members from NUM International College visited the Ford Assembly Plant in Cambodia on November 18, 2024.
On behalf of the National University of Management, we extend our heartfelt thanks to Mr. Virote Sawangchange, General Manager of RMAAC Ford Assembly Plant Cambodia, and his team for their informative presentation, warm hospitality, and kindness. We had a wonderful time and gained valuable insights from this study tour.
