A faculty member and a PhD student from the National University of Management have joined the prestigious International IBTSS Conference at the American University of Phnom Penh (AUPP). Their research on circular production strategies for refurbished mobile phones is paving the way for more sustainable usage of IT devices. We're proud of their contributions to the global conversation on innovation and sustainability!
Want to know more about this research? Refurbished phones are pre-owned devices that have been professionally repaired, tested, and restored to a like-new condition before being resold. They offer a sustainable alternative to purchasing new phones, significantly reducing electronic waste and conserving resources. Key benefits of refurbished phones include their lower cost compared to new models, making advanced technology more accessible. Additionally, by extending the life cycle of phones, refurbished devices help mitigate the environmental impact associated with the production and disposal of electronic goods.

Ms. Lim Ratanak Kanikar, a Junior at NUM International College, has just finished her semester exchange in Japan. Let's hear her impression on the exchange program.
"I am grateful for the invaluable experience of completing my exchange program at the University of Fukui in Japan! Over the past four months, I have gained meaningful insights and formed wonderful friendships with people from around the world. Immersing myself in Japanese culture, from traditional tea ceremonies to visiting historical sites, has been enlightening. The University of Fukui provided a supportive and engaging academic environment, with professors who encouraged critical thinking and active participation.
