Furthermore, we had the privilege to visit Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU), a prestigious private research institution established in 1398, making it one of the country's oldest universities. In addition to these educational experiences, we explored famous landmarks such as Lotte Seoul World Tower, the 6th tallest building in the world, where we had the opportunity to meet Mr. Kim, who was responsible for the structural engineering for this building, is helping build school and clinic buildings in Kampot, Cambodia. Additionally, we visited Namsan Seoul Tower, enjoyed the beauty of the Han River, explored the COEX Convention and Exhibition Center, and marveled at the grandeur of Gyeongbokgung Palace and others.
The study tour involved 9 students from NUM International College and took place from April 11 to April 18, 2024. Throughout the trip, we gained insights into South Korea's dynamic corporations, the educational system, Seoul's tourism sites, and even experienced the efficient Seoul Metro, one of the busiest subway systems in the world.
We would like to express our sincerest gratitude to Mr. Chuck Chung for his exceptional organization of this amazing study trip.
