Learning Express (LeX) is a program that aims to cultivate the Design Thinking mindset among students in the context of social innovation. The program offers students unique experiences beyond traditional textbook learning, such as language acquisition and community homestays.
Students from the National University of Management (NUM) and Singapore Polytechnic participate in the Learning Express Program to collaborate on purposeful, sustainable, and innovative prototype solutions for real-life issues. They gain insights into the social, economic, and political challenges within the community and analyze these issues from multiple perspectives. Through this program, students engage in cross-cultural learning, exploring regional economic and community issues, and applying practical skills, technology, and research in community social innovation projects.
