π Day 05 of Cohort 31 Thesis Proposal Defense
On January 16, 2025, the final day of the thesis proposal defense for NUMIC Cohort 31 marked the completion of the five-day assessment.
On Day 05, 13 groups presented their thesis proposals, outlining their research ideas, objectives, and proposed methodologies. Students will now proceed to the next phase of their thesis, focusing on Literature Review, Research Methodology, and Data Collection, before presenting their findings to the committee and key stakeholders.

π NUMIC CSX Insight Study Tour
On 09 December 2025, Finance students from NUMIC took part in a formal insight session and study tour at the Cambodia Securities Exchange (CSX), Cambodiaβs official securities trading platform.
The session provided students with a comprehensive overview of stock market operations, including daily exchange functions, IPOs, and secondary market trading. Students also learned how the CSX evaluates a companyβs financial stability before approving stock issuance, along with professional insights on resilience, adaptability, and success in the stock exchange environment.
Through initiatives like this, NUMIC reaffirms its commitment to providing industry-relevant learning experiences and equipping students with the knowledge and exposure needed to succeed in local and global financial markets.

π NUMIC Mid-Term Simulation on Public Policy & Legal Environment
On January 21, 2026, freshman students from the NUM-IC International Business program took part in a mid-term simulation designed to replicate an advisory board setting.
During the simulation, students represented NGOs and government ministries, presented opening statements, discussed four public policy matters, and delivered closing statements to the board. The activity enhanced their understanding of public policy while strengthening communication, critical thinking, and presentation skills.
