Today, NUM and SP students arrived at the homestay in Moha Khnoung Commune, Kompong Cham Province, ready to kick off the Sense and Sensibility stage of design thinking! They’re starting by observing the area, interacting with the local community, and pilot-testing their questions to better understand the agricultural challenges.

Collaboration and hands-on learning are at the heart of this stage. We’re excited to see how their observations will transform into impactful ideas for enhancing agriculture!

The NUM and SP students have now entered the Ideation and Prototype stage of design thinking in Phnom Penh. After deeply engaging with the local community and understanding the agricultural challenges in Moha Khnoung Commune, they are now focused on brainstorming creative solutions and developing prototypes that can address the real needs of local farmers.

This hands-on approach is allowing students to take their insights and transform them into tangible solutions that can make a real difference.

The NUM and SP students have now returned to Kampong Cham to validate the prototypes they developed during the Ideation and Prototype stage of design thinking. After gathering insights from the local community in Moha Khnoung Commune, they are now co-creating with farmers to test their solutions and ensure they truly address the real agricultural challenges faced by the community.

This co-creation process is empowering students to refine their ideas based on direct feedback, making their solutions more impactful and relevant to the needs of local farmers.
