Mr. Oeng Leangsin, a Junior at NUM International College, has just finished his semester exchange in Japan at the University of Fukui. Let's hear his impression on the exchange program.
“I had never considered coming to Japan before, but it has now become one of my favorite places, transforming me into a new version of myself. Through the exchange program, I've learned to live independently and have gained a fresh perspective on the world. Witnessing the advanced technology and innovation in this country has been truly eye-opening.
Meeting international students from various parts of the globe has given me the chance to exchange views, share information about traditional dishes and study techniques, and deepen my appreciation for diversity. These experiences have profoundly enriched my life.
Thank you to all the professors, seniors, friends, and NUM IC staff for your support along the way. I truly appreciate it.”

🌟 Let's hear from our student from Thailand 🇹🇭
“My four-month exchange at Mahidol University International College (MUIC) in Thailand was life-changing. The academic environment encouraged critical thinking and collaboration with students from diverse backgrounds. I visited historic sites like Ayutthaya, Chiang Mai, and Phuket, and celebrated festivals like Loy Krathong, deepening my appreciation for Thai culture.
This journey helped me gain independence, adaptability, and confidence. I made lifelong friendships and learned the importance of stepping out of my comfort zone. Receiving the AIMS scholarship and participating in this exchange wouldn’t have been possible without NUMIC’s support. 🌟 Let's hear from our student in ASEAN exchanges 🇸🇬
“Through door of exposure, we grow.
I joined the TF SCALE program hosted by Singapore Polytechnic, a potential school partner of NUM. My half month there was unexpectedly a cultural breakthrough and an exceptional learning exposure. It allowed me to immerse myself in diverse cultures, particularly Singaporean, Indonesian, and Thai, while gaining valuable insights into modern education systems.
NUMIC is more than just a stop between home and school, it’s a place where you can explore yourself, embrace diversity, and experience exceptional learning. Without NUMIC’s partnerships, these opportunities wouldn’t have been available, and I wouldn’t be here today, sharing my experience with the next generation of NUMIC students.” — CHHIM SOKSOKUNTHY, Class of 2024 at NUMIC
Chhim Soksokunthy earned an English-based Bachelor’s in Business Administration, majoring in International Business, from NUMIC. NUMIC wishes her continued success!
Let’s hear from our students from Hungary 🇭🇺
"I can never be the best, but I can be the greatest at giving my best.
I recently completed my Erasmus+ one-semester exchange at the University of Pécs, Hungary, and it was one of the most enriching experiences of my life. Academically, I collaborated in a diverse learning environment, tackling subjects that challenged my critical thinking. Beyond the classroom, I built lifelong friendships and gained a broader cultural perspective.
This journey wouldn’t have been possible without NUMIC, which guided me through the application process and supported me every step of the way. I’m beyond grateful and excited to apply what I’ve learned in the future!" – Ms. Elizabeth Sok, Junior at NUMIC
Elizabeth Sok is a junior pursuing a Bachelor’s in Business Administration, majoring in International Business. NUMIC wishes her continued success.
