Some common FAQs:

What is the commitment level as a member in NTUAC?
- Being a member in NTUAC is non-commitment based, as our club is an event-oriented CCA! So there are no weekly training sessions that you have to commit to. Instead, you are invited to join adhoc events throughout the semesters.

I really want to learn how to fish, but am not sure if signing up as an EXCO would be too daunting for me, what should I do?
- Our NTUAC EXCO members did not all start off as expert anglers. In fact, some of us came in with zero fishing experience! There will be training sessions to guide all new EXCO members on fishing techniques, so no worries! In case you want to experience fishing on a more basic level first, do sign up as a member and join our events, you may always sign up to be an EXCO next AY!

What are the normal tasks of a NTUAC EXCO member?
- Planning events, preparing logistics, managing publicity on our social media accounts, and various administrative duties are some out of the tasks the our EXCO members engage in. Most interestingly, we also take care of feeding the fishes at Nanyang Lake! Our EXCO members usually go out on fishing trips so if you are looking to really expose yourself to different types of fishing then sign up to be an EXCO member now!

26 August to 2 September:
We’ll be introducing our EXCO candidates on our Instagram and Telegram pages. This is your chance to learn more about them!

29 August, 15:30 to 17:30:
Join us at the HIVE for our Rally! This is your opportunity to ask the EXCO candidates any burning questions. We’ll also open a platform for submitting questions beforehand, which will be answered during the Rally. Can’t make it in person? No worries—the event will be live-streamed on our Instagram!

4 September to 5 September:
Voting days! Cast your vote to elect our next EXCO team.

12 September:
We’ll introduce our newly elected EXCO members at our AGM. Following the meeting, we’ll head to the lake for a feeding session. Don’t miss out on this exciting day!
