Notice is hereby given that the above category of students are requested to return their Matriculation gowns and Files to Mr. Samuel, on or before the end of pen on paper examinations, on May 31, 2024 at  block D, Digital Bridge Institute (DBI) Oshodi.  All the locations of Lagos Mainland Study Centre 1 are to submit at Oshodi.
Note that failure to comply with the directive will attract serious penalty.

NOTICE FOR E-EXAM PREPARATION

Dear Students,

As you prepare for the upcoming e-exams, please ensure you have the following items ready:

* Valid Student Identification Card
* Completed Signed and Stamped Clearance Form

For those who have not yet obtained their clearance, this can be processed at your respective study centres or you can visit our site to generate an automated clearance to be later submitted at the study centre for final process (https://nounupdate.com/exam-clearance-slip).

To complete the clearance process, you will need to provide:

- One recent passport photograph
- Remita payment receipt
- Exam registration slip
- Clearance form (available from authorized vendors near campus or https://nounupdate.com/exam-clearance-slip )

Important Reminders:

- Proper dress code must be adhered to. Inappropriate attire is prohibited.
- Late arrivals will not be permitted entry into the examination hall.
- Ensure your student ID card has a clear photograph.
- Handle your clearance form with care to avoid damage.
- No notes or materials are allowed in the exam hall. Calculators will be provided for applicable courses.
- Maintain complete silence throughout the examination.
- Any form of examination malpractice is strictly forbidden and will result in disciplinary action.

2024_1 TMA Misconduct issue for all affected students

The university has posted a notice stating that if you have been booked for TMA Misconduct, your TMA scores will be forfeited, and your exam grades will be based on 100%.

This means if you score 35 out of 70 in your exam, your final score will be calculated as 35 / 100 directly since the TMA which is to cover the remaining 30% has been cancelled. This applies to both POP and E-EXAM for affected students.

If you have received this TMA Misconduct notice but believe it is an error, you should immediately visit https://support.nou.edu.ng and raise a ticket explaining that you were not involved in any misconduct.

For now, affected students should focus on preparing for exams, as your grade will be out over 100 instead of the usual 70.

This only applies if you have received the TMA Misconduct notice on your student portal.

Many have been saying it's been difficult accessing and activating their NOUN official email which is unique to every student. It's written as "YourMatricNumber@noun.edu.ng" e.g nou123456789@noun.edu.ng. If you're encountering difficulties accessing yours, please follow these steps for resolution within 48 hours:

1. Visit "https://support.nou.edu.ng/"

2. Fill in the required information, ensuring to input your matriculation number and phone number for SMS notifications.

3. Select "email and courseware" for the category.

4. Choose "Student NOUN email issue" for the subcategory.

5. Utilize the provided message template below, adjusting it to suit your needs:

"Hello Support,

I wish to report an issue regarding my school-generated email. I have been experiencing trouble creating my school email account, consistently encountering the error message 'could not find email address.' For instances where the password is incorrect, the response is 'incorrect password.' I would greatly appreciate your assistance in resolving this matter promptly so I can access my email address. Thank you."

6. Upon submission, you will receive an SMS confirming that your issue has been logged. Additionally, you will receive further correspondence once the matter has been investigated.
Once you've been replied to, follow the instruction stated and you should be able to activate and access your school or official email.

After accessing this via phone or PC, ensure to keep it saved so you can be accessing it from time to time without undergoing any more stress.
