کلمه every day را معمولا با فاصله دیده ایم که یک قید زمان و به معنی هر روز، همه روزه است.

✏️We see each other at the university every day.
ما هر روز همدیگر را در دانشگاه میبینیم.

🔴 اما اگر کلمه بدون فاصله مورد استفاده قرار بگیرد (everyday) یک صفت میباشد و به معنی روزمره،روزانه است.

✏️Old people need help with their everyday activities.
افراد پیر برای انجام کارهای روزمره ی خود نیاز به کمک دارند.

➡️On the street
👈برای خیابان "با اسم" بکار میرود.
🔹His house is located on Azadi street.

➡️At the street
👈برای خیابان "با پلاک" بکار میرود.
🔹John's house is at 29 Azadi street.

➡️In the street
👈برای خیابان "تنها " بکار میرود.
🔹Children shouldn't play in the street.

Hard vs. Hardly

این دو کاملا باهم متفاوت هستند. Hard به معنی سخت و دشوار صفت است و قبل از اسم یا بعد از فعل tobe بکار میرود. Hard به معنی به شدت و به سختی قید حالت میباشد و بعد از فعل بکار میرود.

It was a hard exam.
صفت
My father is a miner. He works hard.
قید

اما Hardly به معنی خیلی کم و به زحمت قید است و مانند قیدهای تکرار بعد از فعل کمکی و قبل از فعل اصلی قرار میگیرد و مفهوم منفی دارد.

Ali was too tired. He could hardly walk.
علی خیلی خسته بود. او بزحمت میتوانست راه برود.

‍‍ ♻️نکات ساده اما مهم

❇️تفاوت کلمات Hope و Wish

از hope وقتی استفاده میکنیم که انجام عمل یا کاری غیر ممکن نیست یا در گذشته انجام شده و یا در اینده انجام میشود

1️⃣we hope that they will come.
امیدواریم انها بیایند(مطمئن نیستیم که میان یا نه)

از wish زمانی استفاده میکنیم که انجام عمل یا کاری غیرممکن است و انجام نمیشود

2️⃣we wish that they could come
🔰ای کاش می امدند (ولی نمیان)

باید میرفتی(ولی نرفتی).
2, We should have seen.
باید می دیدیم(ولی ندیدیم).
3, I should have earned more money.
باید پول بیشتری درمیاوردم (ولی این کارو نکردم).

آرزو چیزی در زمان حال که برآورده نمیشه.
*Wish+simple past

🟣I wish I went.
ای کاش میرفتم.
🔵I wish I lent him some money.
ای کاش مقداری پول بهش قرض میدادم.
🟡I wish I couldn't tell a lie.
ای کاش نمیتونستم دروغ بگم.
***With the verb be, use were with both singular & plural pronouns or nouns.

I wish I were more organized.

Should means "I think it's a good idea."

🔹We should go. It's getting late.
🔹You should watch this animation. It's fun.

Must means"It is a duty or rule."

🔸You must have a passport to travel.
🔸You must be on time for the exam.

✴️During + noun

1: We didn't talk during the movie.
2: They had a long conversation during dinner.
✔️ I slept during the movie.
✖️ I slept during watching TV.

✴️ While + subject + verb

1: I sometimes fall asleep while I'm watching TV.
2: She texted me while I was reading.

✔️She ate a sandwich while she was watching a movie.
✖️ She ate while the movie.

They have the same meaning, but they are used with a different structure.
هر دو به معنی شبیه بودن هستند البته در دوساختار متفاوت.

👉Ali looks like his father.
علی شبیه پدرش است.

👉Ali & his father look alike.
علی و پدرش شبیه هم هستند.
