就近日舊軍營currie barracks 一條名為「香港路」的路牌被盜，新香港文化協會日前已去信多名各級政府議員，促請盡快調查，並將二戰加拿大參與的海外戰役擴大至加國歷史課程。
Currie barracks 於1998年軍營遷址後售予發展商興建住宅，為紀念其軍營歷史，街道及公園等皆採用與加國戰爭有關的元素命名。其中「香港路」是紀念二戰期間加拿大出兵支援抵抗日軍的香港保衛戰，戰役持續至12月25日「黑色聖誕」，時任港督楊慕琦代表香港投降後結束，不少為香港犧牲的加國士兵安葬在柴灣西灣墳場及赤柱軍人墳場，時有遺孀及後人來港拜祭。
新香港文化協會獲悉後隨即去信市長、省長及國會議員等，亦已向發展商提出，希望以港人社群身份提供臨時路牌，直至市政府的新路牌準備妥當。
國會退伍軍人委員會主席MP Bryan May回覆指關注事件及感到遺憾，促卡城警方全力調查。

🇺🇸 美國救生艇計劃 —《香港安全港法案》有望通過
香港監察上月建議美國國會新議案 《戰略競爭法》(Strategic Competition Act) 加上《香港安全港法案》，為香港抗爭者提供救生艇。在多位參議員帶領下，已將《香港安全港法案》納入《戰略競爭法》中。於四月，外交事務委員會已通過此法案，於不久將來亦會在參議院投票表決。
這為香港抗爭者提供避風港的重要一步。 亦是香港監察於《戰略競爭法》一項重要的建議。
香港監察呼籲美國國會儘快通過相關法案，聯同其他自由世界盟友為香港抗爭者提供逃生途徑。
🇺🇸 US Lifeboats Campaign - Hong Kong Safe Harbor Act
WASHINGTON – "U.S. Senator Bob Menendez (D-N.J.) Chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, today was joined by Senators Marco Rubio (R-Fla.), Jeff Merkley (D-Ore.), and Chris Coons (D-Del.) in introducing an amendment to the China legislative package currently being debated on the Senate Floor. The amendment seeks to add a provision to the bipartisan Strategic Competition Act to ensure Hong Kongers who peacefully protested Beijing’s corrupt justice system and have a well-founded fear of persecution are eligible for Priority 2 Refugee status. The amendment stems from the senators’ Hong Kong Safe Harbor Act, stand-alone legislation that was introduced earlier in the year."
Hong Kong Watch welcomes this important step towards providing safe haven to Hong Kongers. This was a key recommendation in Hong Kong Watch’s recent briefing on the Strategic Competition Act.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to deliver a speech on this memorial event. Before I start, I would like to acknowledge the Land purpose of the indigenous people of Canada.
We acknowledge the land we are meeting on is the traditional territory of many nations including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat peoples and is now home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples. We also acknowledge that Toronto is covered by Treaty 13 with the Mississaugas of the Credit.
I am now going to deliver a speech in Cantonese which is written By the exiled commards from Hong Kong in 2019.
遙想六四，三十幾年前，香港仲係一片淨土，三十幾年後香港已經淪陷，三十幾年前我地救緊六四既民運人士黎香港，三十幾年後輪到我地救緊香港既抗爭者離開香港。
究竟呢三十幾年，香港發生左咩事?
不如就聽下手足嘅意見：
我地唔係無試過， 03年 71 遊行，10 年五區公投，14年雨傘革命，16年魚蛋革命,仍至於19年慘烈既反修列運動，仲有無數次維園集會，所有呢D都係為左向世界表達，我地香港人對民主自由既決心。
但我地見到嘅，係呢幾十年嚟，當我地發聲，對家就扮聽唔到，當我地反抗，佢地就用警察鎮壓六四俾我地最大既啟示係，如果我地唔反抗，我地就會家破人亡，如果我地唔堅持，我地就會失去香港人呢個身份。呢個世界從來都無存在過淨土，係共產黨係被打倒前，係唔會存在一個地方，俾我地安心甘去悼念六四既死難者，亦都唔會再有一個地方再俾我地安然殘存下一個三十年。
歷史只會重覆，北京，然後香港，跟住呢?
於是我地學識左，我地學識到，單係用發聲去爭取民主，對方唔俾，就算嗌破喉嚨，都唔會有用。
烏克蘭無辦法用發聲嘅方法向俄羅斯爭取自身嘅民主，波蘭無辦法用發聲嘅方向共產國際爭取民主。18世紀，華盛頓、富蘭克林等人都唔係用發聲嘅方法向日不落帝國大不列顛爭取民主。
身為香港人嘅我地發現，要民主唔可以靠人地施捨，唔可以氹共產黨開心，而係要靠自己爭取返嚟。
而家越來越多香港人要離開自己嘅家園，好多人都開始用猶太人嚟自比，希望學猶太人有朝一日可以返到自己嘅土地復國。猶太人係好叻嘅商人，由農業、工業，到銀行等金融業，佢地都營辦得有聲有色。唔單止咁，以色列人仲全民皆兵，男女老幼個個都又打得又識用各種武器。相隔二千年，猶太人憑著自己嘅實力復國，佢地唔單止做到莫失莫忘，仲可以好似越王勾踐咁十年生聚、十年教訓。我相信，要學猶太人，就要善用黃色經濟圈，發展屬於我地嘅實業，慢慢壯大我地嘅實力。
企得喺呢度嘅大家，都好肯定好有心。我地呢一輩，好希望大家都有心有力咁去做。我地要壯大，需要嘅人有好多，需要識專門技術嘅專家，需要擁有資金同眼光嘅實業家，需要保護大家嘅戰鬥員，需要有政治手腕嘅政治家，唔知大家，又覺得自己屬於咩位置？
