NFL Player That’s Made the Biggest Impact Outside of Football?

Since it’s the offseason it’s got me thinking, which NFL player, or either good or worse, has made the biggest impact outside of football?

I personally will say Alan Page for the good, and Randall Woodfield for the not.

What do you think?

Kevin Byard (36 INTS) could be the last player in NFL history to snag 40 INTS

With the decline in INTS, DBs with 40+ have become near extinct in the modern NFL. With Harrison Smith's release (he has 39), Byard, who turns 33 before the season, is the last active candidate who's a reasonable bet to join the club.

He's on a 1 year deal with NE, and even though he's coming off of a 7 INT, All-Pro season, he notched just 2 the prior 2 years (0 missed GP). It's certainly not a sure thing.

84 players recorded 40+ INTS. The most recent was Terence Newman in 2016.
39 players recorded 50+ INTS. Asante Samuel in 2012 was the latest.
11 players have 60+ INTS. Charles Woodson in 2014 was the latest.

After Byard, the active leader is Jessie Bates with 27. He's 29 heading into his 9th year, so he has a slight chance.

Kerby Joseph (age 25, 20 INT in first 4 years) is off to a great start, but so were Xavien Howard and Marcus Peters, who ended up well short.

-edited in that Smith has been released. If he plays next year, he of course has a chance to get that final INT.
