[Schultz] Sources: Former Dolphins HC Mike McDaniel is scheduled to interview for the Bucs OC job later this week. He just recently interviewed for the Lions OC job and the Titans HC job. Getting a bunch of looks and navigating his options. Expecting Philly to get involved as well.

This is the second time that Andy Reid has been the longest tenured coach in the NFL. Previously, he was the longest tenured coach while with the Eagles after Jeff Fisher left the Titans after the 2010 season.

I was curious about it and had to look everything up manually. Belicheck was hired a year after Reid, so he only became the longest tenured coach after Reid left the Eagles after the 2012 season.

I don't know if this has ever happened before (possibly very early NFL history.)

Mike Tomlin told his team, “I think it’s best for the organization for me to step down.” Aaron Rodgers, sobbing, said, “I’m sorry,” … while TJ Watt had tears welling down his eyes and kept repeating, “No. No. No,” as Tomlin told the team.
