want to be funny, I wanna touch on million little things that happened in the season. In week 1 I made a "The Tampa Bay Buccaneers experience" type of "meme" about our game with the Falcons. I felt it was appropriate to remake the same thing as a way to end the season. Thanks to every person who's reading these blurbs. Let's hope by the time you read this blurb Todd Bowles is fired. Happy new 2026, and read you in the next season! :) https://streamable.com/ephzh6
20. | (/IND) | Colts | -2 | 8-9 | GM Chris Ballard is 70-78-1 in his nine seasons with the Colts. Indy has gone 1-2 in the playoffs during that time and has never won the AFC South. Coach Shane Steichen is 25-26 in his three seasons. He has not made the playoffs. Both Ballard and Steichen will return next season, presumably because the Irsay family loves making excuses and hates winning. (Remember, Andrew Luck retired seven seasons ago. How was Ballard supposed to overcome that so quickly?!) Now, this outcome was all but assured once the Colts traded their next two first-round picks for Sauce Gardner, as no quality GM candidate would be enticed by a team with a question mark at QB and no first-rounders in back-to-back drafts. But fans are still right to be dubious of the plan to run things back with (likely) a QB coming off a torn Achilles and zero pass rush on the other side of the ball despite the number of high draft picks poured into the D-line. Here's hoping free agency brings some answers…
21. | (/DAL) | Cowboys | -2 | 7-9-1 | It’s over. It’s finally over. The season is done, Eberflus is gone, and we can hope again. New coaches will be hired on defense, and while I have my opinions on some candidates, nearly all of them are better than Flus. It’s sad that his wheels fell so completely off. Once upon a time, we were sad to see him go, but not this time.
22. | (/CIN) | Bengals | -- | 6-11 | Did I ever tell you what the definition of insanity is? Insanity is doing the exact same fucking thing over and over again, expecting shit to change. That is crazy. And the first time I heard that about the Bengals, I don’t know, I thought people were exaggerating. Being dramatic. Cynical. But then it kept happening. Everywhere I look, every season, every regime, every “fresh start” at the beginning of the year, it’s the same thing. The same fucking excuses. The same half measures. The same insistence that this time it’s different. No, no, no, please, this time they’ve figured it out. We’ve figured it out finally. This time meaningless victories in January are proof of progress instead of a warning sign. And you want to believe it. You really do. Because believing is easier than accepting what’s right in front of you. But then April comes. And September. And December. And you realize you’ve seen this movie already. They’re not committed to winning, they’re committed to the appearance of trying. Just enough effort to avoid change. Just enough competence to keep the cycle alive. They win when it hurts them most, lose when it doesn’t matter, and call it professionalism. And when you point this out, they look at you like you’re the crazy one. Like you’re the problem for noticing the pattern. Like you’re wrong for asking why a team with nothing to gain keeps choosing the same path that’s led nowhere for decades. The thing is, I’ve watched this already. I’ve lived this already. Over and over and over again. And it’s not insane to say it anymore. It’s just honest. So yeah. Maybe this is the last week of the season. Maybe it’s just one more meaningless game. But don’t ask me to pretend it’s different. Because this isn’t about one Sunday, or one win, or one bad draft pick. It’s about the choice they make every year when the stakes disappear. When there’s nothing left to chase, they don’t tear it down, don’t get honest, don’t commit to anything. They just keep going. Same decisions, same logic, same belief that standing still counts as progress if you don’t look too closely. They’ll say you never stop trying to win. They’ll say it’s about pride, about standards,
about doing things the right way. But standards that never evolve aren’t standards, no they’re just habits. And pride that refuses to learn is just stubbornness dressed up as virtue. What you’re watching isn’t competitiveness. It’s fear. Fear of admitting that what they’re doing doesn’t work. Fear of real change. Fear of hitting the reset button and owning the consequences. So instead, they choose the familiar. Comfortable mediocrity over uncomfortable truth. And that’s when it clicks. That’s when you realize why this always ends the same way, no matter who’s calling plays or standing at the podium………………Did I ever tell you the definition of insanity?
23. | (/NO) | Saints | -- | 6-11 | The end of the 2025 Saints season comes both soon enough and too soon. There's some sadness we can expect. We'll say farewell to players who have been there over the last few frustrating seasons. Players we've watched for their careers will retire. Already, the Saints' best player has been fired by the Falcons, a decision which brought a tear to our collective eyes. But there's hope for the future. Both sides of the ball grew progressively as the season went on. A team which was expected to be near the bottom of the league slightly exceeded expectations. In a year where they could have coasted, they doubled down and showed heart. The essence of the Saints is there. Hopefully through the draft and free agency it can expand.
24. | (/MIA) | Dolphins | -- | 7-10 | It was a frustrating season but Dolphins fans should be glad that they'll finally move on from a very limited QB who would need everything around him to be perfect if they ever wanted to go on a real Super Bowl run. Whoever Tua's eventual replacement is may end up being worse than he is, but being scared of a downgrade should never prevent a team from upgrading at QB if the QB is clearly not the answer. That philosophy should apply to McDaniel as well, but it seems he's earned some grace by having the team still fighting back to 7-10 after a terrible 1-6 start. Next season he'll be on thin ice on a mediocre roster with no cap space and no stability at QB, so his chances of being Miami's long term answer at head coach are very bleak.
25. | (/KC) | Chiefs | -- | 6-11 | And like that the season from hell is finally over. I'm going to try and be optimistic here. This season has been a massive disappointment but we weren't getting blown out in most of our games, they were close losses with a lot of small mistakes adding up to one score games that the Chiefs simply couldn't quite push over the finish line. I'm hopeful that Pat is back at the beginning of the season next year, and if he does miss time it shouldn't be much. With that in mind, I still think the Chiefs have the best QB/HC duo in the NFL and a GM that has done a good job building in the draft with the best draft position of his career. The offseason is as important as it has ever been this year, but I have faith that the front office can and will do a great job. The offensive coordinator position will be interesting to watch, as it looks like we are going to allow Matt Nagy's contract to expire. Here's to a better 2026.
26. | (/CLE) | Browns | -- | 5-12 | Head coach fired. Last in the Division. Mundane win total. Quarterback position in question. If you don't like that you don't like Cleveland Browns Football. What nightmare will 2026 bring? GO BROWNS!
27. | (/WAS) | Commanders | -- | 5-12 | The Commanders end the 2025 campaign in the exact opposite way they ended 2024; at the end of 2024, they had 12 wins to 5 losses, were headed into the postseason, felt like they had assembled the coaching staff of the future, and had key players in place including a healthy star QB and WR1 combination. This time around, its 12 losses to 5 wins, no postseason, no OC and DC, and questions about the health of the key players. Adam Peters now has an offseason to assemble a formidable team in the draft and through some kind of free agent wizardry that hopefully this time doesn't field the NFL's oldest and slowest team. This year
was nothing short of outright disaster for this franchise that had seemed to be rising from Dan Snyder's ashes, a hopeful phoenix ready to be a perennial NFC combatant. But everything that could go wrong, did go wrong. Year 2 of the new regime was as bad as Year 1 was good. Year 3 of the new regime is make or break for Dan Quinn and maybe even Adam Peters if it's not substantially better. As with most teams in the NFL though, much depends on the health and ability at the QB position - if Washington can't keep Jayden Daniels healthy next season, it may be time to sound the alarm. Oh well, at least we can look to the draft and, whatever happens, don't let the Eagles back into the Super Bowl.
28. | (/NYG) | Giants | +2 | 4-13 | /u/Sexterminator is on a bender after finding out Joe Schoen is coming back
29. | (/ARI) | Cardinals | -- | 3-14 | The Arizona Cardinals fired HC Jonathan Gannon on Monday morning after having won just one game since week 2. In three seasons, Gannon finished with a combined 15-36 record, and Arizona had more losses this season than the rest of the NFC West combined. Gannon seemed to be loved by his players, but that much losing won’t work in this league. Gannon likely could’ve saved his job by parting with OC Drew Petzing last offseason, but instead chose to ride it out with him, leading to his own downfall. The Cardinals did manage to jump to the #3 overall pick with the Giants win on Sunday, putting them in an interesting draft position in a “2 QB draft”. My preference would be for the Cardinals to actually run it back with Kyler Murray (if that bridge isn’t entirely burned) and a new OC, and draft a DL or EDGE or trade down for an OT. Even if the Cardinals move off Kyler, I don’t think they should force a QB prospect that they don’t like (outside of Mendoza and potentially Moore). If Brissett owns the position next year, the Cardinals will accrue plenty of losses to put themselves in great draft position in 2027. Going forward, the Cardinals need to be better at drafting star talent. They will have opportunities to draft at high slots this season and next, but it won’t matter if they don’t get it right. Aside from a few draft gems in recent years, Trey McBride, Michael Wilson, and Will Johnson, the Cardinals have had a number of busts selected at high slots and can’t afford to follow that trend. This offseason doesn’t show a lot of hope for this 3-14 team, but nailing the new HC hire could flip things fast.
30. | (/TEN) | Titans | -2 | 3-14 | Mercifully, the Titans 2025 season has ended. In true Titans fashion, the year ends with a shoulder injury for Cam Ward on the team’s only touchdown drive of the game. Hopefully the future hold a competent head coach that can work with Ward to get this team back on a winning track.
31. | (/NYJ) | Jets | -- | 3-14 | The Jets successfully tanked their way to the 2nd overall pick, but at what cost? The Jets had the worst December point differential in NFL History. The fanbase's faith in the coaching staff and current roster is at an all time low. It's hard to imagine Aaron Glenn being the answer moving forward. The only hope for the Jets is to hit on a QB with the second overall pick. A rookie QB who will have the opportunity to play behind a decent OL, with a playcaller who has shown some promise. There's a ton of work to be done on the roster, but getting the QB right is the only thing that matters right now.
32. | (/LV) | Raiders | -- | 3-14 | Well, here we are, at the end of one of our worst regular seasons ever, AND WE CAP IT OFF BEATING THE CHIEFS BABY WOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! For anyone who didn’t get to watch this game you missed out on some of the most beautiful football ever played… okay maybe it was abhorrent but hey, a win is a win. Hopefully next year we get to play a bit better with a certain first overall quarterback (Spytek if you fuck this up I swear to god I’ll lead a coalition of the willing against you and all you hold dear.) Thank you all for reading this season and I am very excited to join you all next year for a second
The last time the Bears beat the Packers in the playoffs was the Sunday after Pearl Harbor was attacked

The date was December 14th 1941. Pearl Harbor was bombed 1 week prior and in response, George Halas's Bears beat Curly Lambeau and the Packers 33-14 with the greatest QB in franchise history Sid Luckman throwing for 41 yards on 9 attempts.
