[Russini] The Vikings traded a 2026 5th-round pick and a 2027 4th-round pick to the Panthers for Adam Thielen, a conditional 2026 7th-round pick and a 2027 5th-round pick. Thielen appeared in 11 games and caught eight passes in his Minnesota return before being waived at his request.

The New England Patriots are the first team since 1999 (Peyton Manning and the Colts) to have a ten game winning streak a year after losing 13+ games.

They just displayed this fact on the ESPN broadcast following the game.

Official r/NFL Week 13 Power Rankings

Welcome to week 13 of the 2025 r/NFL power rankings, the most biased-unbiased source for power rankings on the web. Jaguars ranker /u/preludeoflight is this week's prophet, unwavering in his #1 ranking of the Patriots since week 9. Now over 20 rankers have followed suit, usurping the Rams at the top spot, with Rams/Broncos/Seahawks also receiving top votes. The Chiefs and Ravens had the biggest slides after truly underwhelming performances, while the Bears, Texans, Packers, and Bengals had the biggest jumps. Caleb Williams looks to be Chicago's weakness, do you think they can continue to hold off the rest of the NFC? Are the Texans poised to make a late push with a defense only the Broncos can rival? Which teams do you think are undeserving of their spot? Discuss! 1. | [](/NE) | Patriots | +1 | 11-2 | Ok, who told the Patriots to play like they were being controlled by a 14 year old first-time Madden player? And can we get that kid to take over in two weeks against the Bills as well? Because the Hit Stick was being put to absolutely diabolical use on Monday night against a dismal 2-10 Giants team just trying to close out the season. Maybe the Patriots defenders figured the Giants players couldn't get any more CTE than they already have, so they were fair game for massive hits and headshots? Even kicker Younghoe Koo clearly thought he was in a Charlie Brown movie and not on an NFL field, if that isn't a sign of too many hits in the head, I'm not sure what is. Unfortunately for the Giants, even their best matchup on the night (their fearsome defensive linemen vs the depleted Patriots o-line) was weakened by Abdul Carter busting… being a bust in a team meeting and then being benched for a portion of the game. Alright, all jokes aside, this was a complete win in all three phases of the game for the Pats. The offense was able to move the ball effortlessly despite missing multiple offensive linemen, the defense played lights out and set a hard-nosed tone early into the night, and special teams came up huge with punt return touchdown and a forced fumble off of a massive hit during a kickoff return attempt. This kind of dominant win over a massively inferior opponent is exactly the sort of performance you want heading into a late bye week to conclude a run of 10 straight wins. Things get a little tougher in two weeks with upcoming games against the Bills and Ravens, but if New England can reset and get a bit healthier during their week off, I'm not really sure who in the AFC can actually stop them at the moment. ;
2. | [](/LAR) | Rams | -1 | 9-3 | Power rank #1 curse is real. Despite the Rams having a more efficient offense than Carolina, costly turnovers by former MVP frontrunner Matt Stafford and untimely defensive lapses (mainly by Emmanuel Forbes) were the difference. Let's chalk this loss up to a few key plays that went the other way during an early east coast game in bad weather and have faith that lessons will be learned before it's too late. The Rams have friendly remaining schedule strength, though anything but the #1 seed will all but ensure another outdoor road game, so there's little margin for error.
3. | [](/SEA) | Seahawks | -- | 9-3 | Another awesome Sunday! It was Darnold's revenge game.... and I guess you can say he succeeded? But really, the defense succeeded on his behalf. The Minnesota Vikings should be looked at for reckless endangerment of Max Brosmer's life. Throwing him to the wolves against Leonard Williams, Byron Murphy, Demarcus Lawrence, Uchenna Nwosu, Boye Mafe.... No bueno! Demarcus Lawrence needs a special shoutout-- he has been an absolutely massive addition to this defense. He has thrived in MacDonald's defense. He was taking Brosmer down for a sack when Brosmer decided to throw Ernest Jones an 80 yard touchdown. He also made a [hell of a play
after getting chipped by Aaron Jones to force a fumble where other players would have just accepted they were out of the play.](https://bsky.app/profile/fantasynflnews.bsky.social/post/3m6wwhgpxls2k) I truly cannot gush about the defense enough; [they have been performing at a level comparable to the legendary Legion of Boom.](https://imgur.com/a/sR8KyML) JSN had his first not-good game of the season, but it's ok. The offense could use an adrenaline shot, but with a defense like this... it may not matter. Go Hawks.
4. | [](/DEN) | Broncos | -- | 10-2 | I liked the part where we won, but the rest of the time I was a mess. It may be low-hanging fruit, but [this meme](https://preview.redd.it/bvsgshwqyi4g1.jpeg?auto=webp&s=c47ec408d75044de7043381f852842d2d59c6243) really does capture the experience perfectly. Marcus Mario-Tah (correct pronunciation, get it right) played his ass off, Scary Terry still has it, and the Broncos Defense is mortal BUT NOT THAT MORTAL. Riley Moss quietly had the best game of his career, but I found it ironic that the game where he got no bullshit flags, we got an outrageous number of bullshit flags (and missed penalties) everywhere else. I do think the Bronocos came out on the positive side of the refereeing, but I also think that this was one of the best primetime games we've seen this year so it won't be as sore of a subject. Bo Nix threw the worst interception since the Vikings game (pick one), but he also orchestrated a gorgeous touchdown drive to begin overtime. Maybe by the time he retires we will know which guy is the real Bo? For now though, I'm content to enjoy the win. Here's hoping the defense comes back to prime form, because the Raiders love to play us close and I'm not marking this next matchup as an easy win.
5. | [](/GB) | Packers | +4 | 8-3-1 | With a Thanksgiving win, I wanna give some thanks to some under-reported players on the Packers this year. 2nd round draftee Anthony Belton has slotted very nicely into right guard as Green Bay shuffles their OL to figure out how to cope with the loss of Elgton Jenkins, the project tackle pick has progressed ahead of schedule to fill that hole. Warren Brinson has been a gem in the rough in the 6th round of the draft, with our DT depth being strained by the Clark trade and the Wyatt injury, he's given us very solid snaps as a rookie. Daniel Whelan is PFF's highest graded punter for good reason, the only bright spot of our special team unit. Stars like Micah Parsons and Jordan Love are great, but getting quality contributions from the periphery of the team is the difference maker between good teams and great ones.
6. | [](/CHI) | Bears | +6 | 9-3 | The Bears finally have their signature win. Coming into the week, they were getting called frauds and somewhat deservedly so, for being 8-3 the way they were. On Black Friday, the Bears walked in to the defending SB Champs' house and had arguably the best rushing performance in team history over the last 40 years. Their defense, often the sore spot of the team, got it's two best players back and completely disrespected a struggling Eagles offense, blitzing nonstop and taking the ball away from a team that does not typically turn it over. This week, the team has its best opportunity in years, with a chance to set themselves up to be favored for the North if they are able to beat the Packers on a road, and such a statement would make last week look like nothing. It's fun to be back in it.
7. | [](/BUF) | Bills | +1 | 8-4 | 32 Carries 144 yards! The Bills fed James Cook and he responded by feasting on the Steelers defense. Once the second half started it was complete domination on all sides of the ball. The defense came up huge with a crazy minute and half sequence including an interception and a wild strip sack fumble TD that resulted in a bloody nose for Rodgers. Whenever you have a future hall of fame QB calling out his wide receivers and a future hall of fame coach getting booed you know you are doing something right. Next up the gauntlet begins facing the Joe Burrow led Bengals, the 10 game
winning streak Pats, the Kevin Patullo led Eagles (and the Browns) in a pivotal 4 week stretch.
8. | [](/PHI) | Eagles | -3 | 8-4 | The finger-pointing is in full swing. Is it Kevin Patullo, the new OC who can’t seem to call a consistent game? Is it the O-line, injured, slow, and for the first time in years, unable to run block effectively? Is it Nick Sirianni’s scheme? After all, he is the common denominator these past few seasons of offensive struggles. Is it the injured safeties? The lack of a consistent pash rush? The run blocking? One goat to scape: Jalen Hurts. The reigning Super Bowl MVP has regressed to some of his most frustrating tendencies since the bye, and watching the team is like watching an offense play uphill into the wind. The good news: they’re 8-4, and still have a legitimate chance to push for the 1 or 2 seed with the Rams losing.
9. | [](/SF) | 49ers | +2 | 9-4 | The 26-8 win Sunday marked the first 49ers win in Cleveland since Nov 11, 1984. It was an ugly affair, with high winds hampering offenses and special teams. The team now heads into its bye week only a half game out of the division lead, which seems almost miraculous after the string of injuries they have faced. Shanahan and Salah should be strong candidates for Coach of the Year and Assistant Coach of the year awards, respectively, for their work this season.
10. | [](/IND) | Colts | -4 | 8-4 | Clay Martin. Steven Woods. Greg Wilson. Jerod Phillips. Dave Hawkshaw. Alonzo Ramsey III. Brian Perry. These are the [officials who worked this game](https://www.espn.com/nfl/game/_/gameId/401772787/texans-colts) and who should be **suspended** pending an NFL investigation into whether they're gambling on football. This crew was responsible for ***six*** incorrect or missed calls in the 4th quarter that went against the Colts, some so egregious that [even Gene Steratore couldn't defend them](https://bsky.app/profile/justinbauerle.fantasynowplus.com/post/3m6usu7dnis2d). There was the missed delay of game, the defensive pass interference called when there was no contact, the [missed extra point](https://v.redd.it/ihvyishofg4g1) that was called good, the missed hands to the face penalty, the missed DPI call and the missed facemask call on a Jonathan Taylor run. This combination of penalties handed the Texans at least four free points and stalled the Colts' attempted game-winning drive when they should've been in the red zone (and also should've been able to kick a game-tying or go-ahead field goal, had the previous calls been made correctly). Calling this display of officiating incompetent is giving those responsible far too much credit. It is inexcusable and should lead to actual consequences. **Investigate them.**
11. | [](/DET) | Lions | -4 | 7-5 | The NFL is a cruel mistress, but who can blame her. The Lions fell to the Packers on Thanksgiving, continuing a classic American holiday tradition. Honestly, I thought they played a pretty solid game. Trystan Colon played admirably in relief of Graham Glasgow at center, the Lions offense did well to adjust to the early loss of ARSB, and Jamo had a great game sans one key drop. The defense played well down to down, but a couple great plays via the Love-Wicks connection and a few bad penalties on 3rd down drowned them. The Lions played a good game, but the Packers played a better one, and thus is the way of sports. Not every loss need be some catastrophic issue with the team, even if that loss looms large over their playoff hopes. Next week is as close to a non-mathematical must-win as you can get, as the Lions welcome Dallas into Detroit on Thursday Night Football. If the Lions want to make the playoffs at this point, they gotta send the Cowboys home with an L.
12. | [](/HOU) | Texans | +4 | 7-5 | For the 10th time in 12 games, the Texans defense held their opponent to 20 or fewer points. This is the type of game they want to play. Hold the other team to a low score and then have CJ Stroud lead long clock bleeding drives that result in at least a field goal. It can be ugly to watch but 4 wins in a row
seems to show that it's starting to become very effective. They're getting much better at moving the ball down the field, but they still need to finish the job in the red zone more consistently.
13. | [](/LAC) | Chargers | +1 | 8-4 | Eagles, Chiefs, Cowboys, Texans, Broncos. There’s no fluff left to salvage. If they wanted room to breathe, they shouldn’t have fallen to the Giants or Commanders. Now they have to find wins against both of last year’s conference champions, along with three of the hottest teams in the NFL. Three wins *probably* get them in. Two and it’s a coin flip. One or less, and we’ll all be back to conjuring up hypotheticals about what this team could have done in an uncharacteristically wide-open AFC if they could just stay healthy. There’s a degree of pessimism from the fanbase about this year, how even if they *made* the playoffs, it would just culminate in another wildcard exit. Now’s the time to prove us wrong. **Now’s the time to prove they belong at the table.**
14. | [](/JAX) | Jaguars | +3 | 8-4 | Why is no one shouting "bingo?" It is December, and the Jacksonville Jaguars are the #3 seed in the AFC. Surly this is the last square everyone had on their prediction bingo card.
15. | [](/TB) | Buccaneers | -- | 7-5 | Was it ugly? Yes. Am I an optimist for the future after seeing that? No. Did I feel empty inside after witnessing that? Yes. But enough about my mirror's reflection, how bout those Bucs eh? At least our injured players are coming back relatively soon. And we got Backy Buck! I mean Buccy Back. I mean Bucky Bucc, I mean...
16. | [](/KC) | Chiefs | -5 | 6-6 | This time two fourth quarter touchdowns weren't enough to mount a comeback, especially when the defense gives up eleven. Playoffs are a pipedream at this point while the single score game pendulum swings in the other direction. In this mini "dynasty" the Chiefs utilized creative playcalling and playmakers across the board to execute. They could afford to let some of those players go while the defense stepped in and stepped up to take the weight off the offense's shoulders. Now Patrick Mahomes is having one of his best seasons yet, but it's not enough as the Chiefs look to miss the playoffs for the first time since 2014.
17. | [](/DAL) | Cowboys | +2 | 6-5-1 | The Cowboys have beaten the defending AFC and NFC champions in back to back weeks... well, really in the same calendar week. This was a team that many people had given up on four weeks ago, this ranker included. It turns out, adding one of the best in the league at his position and getting reinforcements from injury at linebacker, corner and safety can really turn a defense around. Dallas now has a winning record, and is a game and a half back from the leading Eagles, who have lost two in a row and averaged only 15.5 points per game in November. If Dallas continues to improve and the wheels finish falling off in Philly, this could be a scary playoff team.
18. | [](/CAR) | Panthers | +2 | 7-6 | LEETTTTS GOOOOOOOO!!!! The Carolina Panthers continue to prove they are an anomaly with a solid win against the LA Rams in Charlotte. They looked pitiful in a winnable game but then win a game that seemed impossible. The rollercoaster of emotions is truly insane and we are BIG UP RIGHT NOW! EVERY PHASE WAS ON! The defense forced three TOs, including Mike Jackson’s first career pick-six. Derrick Brown also had a strip sack to end the Rams last offensive possession and basically seal the game. The defensive unit came in beat up, missing guys and still played great! The offense moved the ball consistently. Canales used a good mix of Chubba and Rico which led to both making major impacts in the game; the ole one-two punch we’ve been waiting for. This then opened up the passing game. BY9 looked great and confused everyone some more but it was worth the confusion today. He finished with 206 yds on 15-20 attempts along with 3 TDs. DAWG. Jalen Coker emerged with 4 recs for 74 yds and 1 TD. DAWG. T-Mac also had 1 td, his lone reception but the ball was getting spread around well so no harm
done. Dave Canales said after the game that the home crowd atmosphere influenced the game and that is awesome to hear. The fans truly were the 12th man and where have we heard that before? Anyway, what an electric game. The Panthers looked good on Sunday against debatably the best team in the NFL. What is this team? Hopefully they can maintain this momentum but I’ve said that before annnnnnnd then its all gone. The Panthers have a must needed bye next week. After the bye they play the Saints again and man oh man do we need to get our get-back in New Orleans. The team is in control of their own destiny and there is potential for some big things. Real contention for the division is in play. Why not? KEEEEEEEEEP POUNDING!!
19. | [](/BAL) | Ravens | -6 | 6-6 | The Ravens are thankful that was only one game and it's over. Flush it and on to Pittsburgh.
20. | [](/PIT) | Steelers | -2 | 6-6 | A few weeks ago in [week 8](https://old.reddit.com/r/nfl/comments/1oijse4/official_rnfl_week_8_power_rankings/) my blurb was a bit of a riddle. If you got to the final paragraph you’d notice the words “*first letter each sentence*” were italicized. If you went back and read the first letter of each sentence it spelled out “fire everyone.” Maybe no one caught it? Maybe no one cared enough to go “haha good one,” maybe I thought I was more clever than I am. Either way I wanted to be clear this time; **FIRE EVERYONE.** No one should be safe. Tomlin, Austin, Smith (Arthur), OK fine; Danny Smith can stay. Can you fire owners? The Rooney family should be worried. The Chief himself must be rolling over in his grave like a zombie rotisserie chicken right now. Since 2016 this team has produced less and less each season. In that year the Steelers lost to the Patriots in the AFC Championship game. 2017 we shit our pants vs. the Jags (at home!) after notching a 13-3 record. In 2018 Bell sat rather than sign the tag and 9-6-1 wasn’t enough for a playoff appearance. 2019 Ben blew out his elbow and it was an actual miracle that team went 8-8. In 2020 after a fantastic 11-0 start Pittsburgh suddenly found themselves losing in the Wild Card Round to the Browns 28-0 in the first quarter, and never recovered. 2021 was essentially “Weekend at Bernies” but instead of Bernie’s corpse they used Ben’s. The result would’ve been similar with either. 2022 was our first taste of the “post-Ben” era and it’s hard to make the playoffs starting a year 2-6. 2023 Mason Rudolph had to bail this team out to sneak us into the playoffs. Yes the same Mason Rudolph you’ve seen a few times this year. But 2024 is the crime that should’ve gotten people fired. A 10-3 team failed to win a single game from that point on. Realistically the only game that was mildly competitive was the week 18 loss to Cincinnati. Sad as it sounds the loss to Baltimore the following week is barely memorable at all. In hindsight that’s probably better than a heart-breaker but losing to your hated divisional rival should feel bad, it should make you angry…instead that time it felt like a mercy killing. With the Ravens in Baltimore next on the schedule it’s feeling very similar right now. In case anyone missed it let’s just say it one more time for those in the back **FIRE EVERYONE.**
21. | [](/CIN) | Bengals | +4 | 4-8 | AND BEHOLD AS THE HOLY SPIRIT RETURNS. THE MESSIAH. THE PROPHET. THE LISAN AL-GAIB. MUAD’DIB. THE CHOSEN ONE. THE ANOINTED ARM. THE PATRON SAINT.
