The Bears Kyle Monangai and D’Andre Swift became the first teammates to each run for 125+ yards and 1+ TD in a games since 2014. Here are the eight times this has happened since the merger (1970)

Kyle Monangai had 22 carries for 130 yards (5.9) and a TD. D’Andre Swift ran for 125 on 18 carries (6.9) and a TD.

125 yards and a TD hasn’t been done by a pair of teammate RBs in a game since 2008, or by two teammates (QB included) since 2014.

Here are the eight instances of 2X 125/1 since the merger:

🔸2025 11-28 CHI vs. PHI: K.Monangai, D.Swift

🔸2014 12-20 SF vs. SD: F.Gore, C.Kaepernick

🔸2008 10-19 TN vs. KC: C.Johnson, L.White

🔸2007 12-23 NYG vs. BUF: A.Bradshaw, B.Jacobs

🔸2006 12-10 JAX vs. IND: M.Jones-Drew, F.Taylor

🔸2001 11-11 STL vs. CAR: M.Faulk, T.Candidate

🔸1975 9-28 NYJ vs. KC: J.Riggins, C.Garrett

🔸1972 10-15 NYJ vs. NE: J.Riggins, E.Boozer

The Bears 281 total rushing yards against the Eagles is by far the most rushing yards given up since Vic Fangio took over DC as the previous high was just 174. In fact, this is the most rushing yards allowed by a Fangio defense since he was the Texans DC in 2005.

Shoutout to 7th round rookie Kyle Monangai

Per NexGenStats, Caleb Williams has 4 carries reaching atleast 20 MPH this season. The only players to have more are Jonathan Taylor and Jahmyr Gibbs

Obviously those two have had many more carries period so it makes it even more impressive for Caleb. Part of what makes him almost unsackable is just how insanely fast he is for a QB

With RB Myles Gaskin's joining the Seahawks 53-Man Roster today, he'll be the first player in history to officially play in Seattle at every football level - High School (O'Dea), College (University of Washington), and Pro (Seahawks)

Although a few other players, like Jermaine Kearse (of Lynwood), Brock Huard (of Puyallup) and Lawyer Milloy (of Tacoma) have done so for the Seattle Metro, Gaskin is the first to accomplish the feat in the city limits proper.

Here are a few other players who've accomplished such feats of legendary locality (specifically in the city limits proper, not including suburbs and metro areas)

Pre Pro Football Reference, Trevor Lawrence is one of the worst QBs in the NFL with the lead, but above average when tied or trailing.

Stats sourced from Pro Football Reference

In the 2025 regular season, when leading, Trevor Lawrence has completed 54% of his passes for 796 yards, 3 touchdowns and 9 interceptions, for a 51.5 passer rating.

When tied or trailing, he's completed 63% of his passes for 1,611 yards, 11 touchdowns and 2 interceptions, for a 96.4 passer rating.

The total season averages for the 2025 season among all qualified QBs are:

- 64.7% completion
- 2434 yards
- 17.5 touchdowns
- 7.9 interceptions
- 92.2 passer rating

I'm not going to pretend to know the ins and outs of coaching or scheming, nor will I pretend Trevor Lawrence is absolutely amazing, but I'm genuinely curious if this points to some sort of flaw in the offensive play-calling. Perhaps they're calling packages or tempo that he's more comfortable with when the Jaguars are tied or trailing, but not when the Jaguars have the lead? Liam Coen has done amazing work so I'm in no way saying he's a bad coach, but I do have to wonder what part of this is coaching and what part is mental on Trevor's side.
