Musk's Neuralink Admits to Euthanizing 8 Primates in Experiments
An animal rights group has filed a lawsuit after Neuralink admitted to euthanizing eight macaque monkeys during brain-chip experiments. That's despite Musk's firm insisting they are “committed to working with animals in the most humane and ethical way possible”.
The Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine has claimed the monkeys had chips inserted after a hole was drilled in their skull, with complications including uncontrollable vomiting, brain hemorrhaging and lost limbs through “self-mutilation”.
