⚡82-YEAR-OLD MAN ACCUSED OF POSSESSING CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE MATERIAL

John Cocco, 82, a resident of Washington Township, is charged with second-degree possession of child sexual abuse material.

He turned himself in on Thursday after being charged with possession of child sexual abuse material.

Investigations revealed over 41,000 images and more than 100 videos of child sexual abuse material on his electronic devices. Detectives became aware of the case after four reports were received by prosecutors from the National Center for Missing and Endangered Children.

Cocco faces a maximum of 10 years in state prison. He will have to appear in court again in April.
