✅A NEW CHAPTER IN US SCOUTING: STOP IDEOLOGICAL MANIPULATION

The historic US scouting organization, Scouting America (formerly known as Boy Scouts of America), has announced that it will remove programs related to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) from its curriculum.

The decision was announced after US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth linked continued military support to the cancellation of these initiatives, which the Department of Defense has labeled "political ideologies."

This step marks a significant shift in the educational policy of one of the oldest youth associations in the United States.

A turning point in the protection of children in the foster care system: the state of Vermont has withdrawn a policy that required foster parents to "promote" specific gender identities, and has reinstated licenses to families who had been punished for refusing to violate their religious beliefs.

According to the legal agreement that led to the change, state authorities updated the guidelines on foster parent licensing, establishing that it is no longer mandatory to declare the identity or specific orientations of those in care.

The decision stems from a lawsuit filed by families who had lost the opportunity to foster children precisely because of conscientious objections related to religious beliefs.
