Jefferson Amaya-Ayala, 14, from Washington, D.C., lured to a park in College Park, Maryland, on August 2, 2025, and brutally murdered.

🇺🇸 Man wanted by U.S. Marshals for failing to register as a sex offender, last seen in Cleveland area

CUYAHOGA COUNTY, Ohio - The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is offering a reward for information leading to the arrest of a fugitive.

51-year-old Arthur “Sonny” Clayton is wanted by the Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Department and the U.S. Marshals Service for failure to register as a sex offender.

According to a release by the NOVFTF, he is also wanted by the Ohio Adult Parole Authority for violations of parole.

Clayton is required register his address due to a conviction of rape of a minor.

The release described Clayton as a white man standing 5-feet-7-inches tall, weighing around 160 pounds.

His last known location was in the Cleveland area.

Anyone with information regarding Arthur “Sonny” Clayton is encouraged to contact the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force at 1-866-4WANTED or you can send a web tip on the U.S. Marshals website.

Tipsters can remain anonymous and reward money is available.
