The US Mint halted the sale of 1-oz 0.999 “Silver Eagle” coins this week, to reprice the inventory.
The Mint then raised the price of the Silver rounds over 81% in just a few days, from just under $100 per coin, to a current price point of $173.
That’s $173 per 1-ounce US “Silver Eagle” coin.
The best part?
The Mint still has the coins marked as ‘Unavailable’ on the official .Gov website.

The FBI and Prince William County police raided a Red carpet Inn hotel in Dumfries,VA early Thursday morning.
Authorities say it was a "coordinated operation" following a years-long investigation into alleged sex trafficking and drug distribution.
Multiple people were arrested but officials have not provided information on how many, or who they are.
