⚡FORMER AMBULANCE EMPLOYEE CHARGED WITH POSSESSION OF CHILD PORNOGRAPHY⚡

Craig Meckfessel, former facilities manager for the Saint Charles County Ambulance District, has been charged with three counts of possession of child pornography.

The charges were filed by Lincoln County Prosecutor Mike Wood.

Authorities discovered thousands of files of child sexual abuse material during a search of his home in Moscow Mills.

Meckfessel's role did not involve contact with patients. Further charges are expected, but prosecutors moved quickly with these initial ones.

The Ambulance District has declared its full cooperation with the investigation.
