Andrew Jene Gonzales, a 22-year-old substitute teacher, was #arrested on charges of possession of #pedopornographic material .

Gonzales worked in several schools in the Lynwood and Compton school districts.

The arrest occurred Oct. 28 by the South Gate Police Department after a report of distribution of child sexual abuse material.

Investigations suggest that the man targeted female minors and that there are multiple victims.

He is also believed to be responsible for the production of additional unreported material.

Authorities are searching for other possible victims and have released mug shots to aid identifications.

Mark Paulino, 64, a retired former elementary school teacher, was arrested Dec. 5, 2025, on charges of distribution and possession of child pornography.

The investigation started from a report that he had uploaded multiple files of suspected child pornography online.

Paulino, known as "Santa Mark" for his role as Santa's interpreter in private and public events.

During the search of his home, various items were seized. Later released with a ban on contact with minors, he pleaded not guilty.

Authorities urge anyone with information to contact them.
