A French study reveals that 70% of photos of minors posted by parents on social media are downloaded and re-uploaded to pedophile sites within hours.
The researchers created a fake mother profile and posted 30 innocent pictures of children (in costume, naked in the bathtub, or in everyday poses). Within 48 hours, 28 photos had already appeared on 12 #dark_web platforms dedicated to abuse, some edited with sexual comments.
Even with private accounts, photos can be saved and shared.
Tags with name, age and city make minors easily identifiable.

He was not arrested in flagrante delicto and is currently free.
