Police arrested Hosono Masayuki, 51, for labor law violations, accused of forcing a 12-year-old Thai girl to work in a private massage parlor

The victim was forced to provide sexual services to clients for about a month between June and July

The child entered the country in late June with her mother on a 15-day tourist visa, after dropping her daughter off at the salon she abandoned it, leaving the country

The case, treated as #trafficking_human_beings for child sexual exploitation, emerged when the child went to the immigration office, expressing a desire to return home and go to school

Police did not reveal whether the man admitted to the charges. The investigation continues to clarify details.
