Alexandra Zarini, heiress to the Gucci family, sued her former stepfather Joseph Ruffalo for severe abuse that began at age 6 and continued for more than 15 years.

According to the complaint, the man would enter her bed naked during the night.

Zarini says her mother and grandmother were aware of what was going on, but would have forced her silence to save the family's image.

He also recounts incidents of physical violence by his mother.

After years of silence, she founded an NGO to defend children from abuse and decided to go public with her testimony.

Family members deny any complicity.
