A 73-year-old man has been sentenced to 210 years in prison for #sexually abusing numerous boys at an orphanage he founded in 1985.
Between 2005 and 2010, he made repeated trips from the United States to abuse children in his care.
The ruling came after a trial in which six victims, then children between the ages of 9 and 13, testified about the abuse they suffered, along with four other victims.
The perpetrator, who was arrested in 2024, also inflicted physical and emotional punishment on minors.
The sentence includes lifetime supervision. The investigation, conducted by #FBI and Homeland Security, revealed systematic abuse that continued for years.

In Russia, in the Chelyabinsk region, a 46-year-old mother, identified only as Svetlana, was arrested for offering £930 to an acquaintance, Andrey, 36, to drown her 12-year-old daughter in the Bolshaya Karaganka River because of constant fighting and the child's "bad behavior."
The girl, eavesdropping from behind a door, heard her mother's plan and revealed it.
The man, instead of executing the crime, hid the minor at his home and informed the police.
The mother, who has four children, is charged with inciting the murder of a minor and faces up to 15 years in prison.
