A Louisiana federal judge has struck down regulations that would have forced most U.S. employers to give workers furloughs and other benefits for killing babies during abortions.
The ruling, issued Wednesday by U.S. District Judge David Joseph, invalidated a provision of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) under the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act (PWFA), which had been promoted during the Biden administration.
