There will be a rate change. This is what I'm hearing from contacts in Iraq. Now, it's not just boards of directors and optimistic gurus.
I'm hearing that they keep delaying until they're allowed to publish because there will be rates for everyone to see and that's why we're seeing this. I hope it's true. It certainly makes a lot of sense.
Washington is urging Iraq to get rid of Iranian energy as soon as possible. They're pushing, guys.
There's a massive effort to eliminate all Iranian influence and they've accelerated it. They're not talking about eliminating it in a month or two months or six months. No.
They're talking immediately, right now.
Let's move on to this topic now: big gas projects, fixed and floating platforms to boost energy in Iraq. In other words, so they don't need Iranian gas anymore and so they don't burn gas anymore, saving money and helping the environment. It's always fun to put a green spin on it.
It just makes it a little bit more salable.
Uh, so yeah, the push they want is to be able to take care of everyone themselves.
Ok, I have an update from my redemption and wealth management contacts.
They're working this weekend. They don't know if there will be Redemptions or not, but they're prepared.
I don't have an update from CMKX or my bond contacts. I still have several with appointments between now and the 17th, things seem to be moving along nicely on the bond front.
I think we're getting ready to process, based on what I've been following. I think group number three is getting ready to process on that front. So it looks like we're making good progress.
Note: Mark mentioned a few days ago that "by law" the bonds were to be done with all their processing by March 17th. I don't know where he got that information from and if it's correct... Now he names that day again.
We'll see what happens with that, because in the past it was expected that when the levels above were close to finishing, the notification for the T4B group would be released.
The thing is that things are changing a bit and we don't know that...
But anyway, let's continue to be happy that we'll soon reach the goal. 👏👍🥰
