Prayers for the Houston police officer who was injured in the line of duty this morning. 🙏🏻

Texas: A Houston police officer was taken to the hospital after being involved in a crash with a METRO bus downtown.

It happened near the intersection of Main and Congress.

The officer was taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital. At this point, we don’t know the officer’s condition. There were two people on the METRO bus – a passenger and the driver. They were reported to be in good condition and were still at the scene.

Santa Barbara: Evidence of a homeless encampment was found where a very visible vegetation fire broke out Sunday afternoon at Hwy 101 Southbound at Winchester Canyon on the western end of Goleta.

This incident happened in Greensboro, North Carolina Thanksgiving evening.

A Thanksgiving train hit the cruiser, thankfully the officer was not in it.

A GPD officer, while assisting another officer, parked his police cruiser on the tracks at a grade crossing. In his official statement the officer said he believed the railroad to be "shut down" because it was Thanksgiving.
